Sounds good, but I can't really tell you much without having played the map. How about incorporating a Dark Archon with storm but without mindcontrol?

Probably wouldn't fit the theme. :ermm:

Looks good, I'm curious how the firebats play as they are melee units, but I'd hope the 2 medics could keep them up in health, but in the engineer group they have no medic. I'm not offering an alterative as I like the idea, just curious how well they survive.

You probably haven't seen me, but I enjoy making maps when I get an idea. I also like to help people out which is why I offered.

The fire squad with Hero Firebats is probably the strongest group so far, because of the splash damage. You can probably think of a way or 2 how to use the 2 bats with Engineer, like in a bunker or use the "+ 1 Marines; Ghost; Firebat; Medic" power up which supplies a medic and additional Firebat.

On a side note. So far so good guys, the beta version is 99.99% complete. The lucky ones will receive it via PM as soon as I finish eating my pancakes. So hold your panties and wait for )) Mercury to arrive!

Just here for the pie

Great :). Can't wait to try it out. Should we have a multiplayer test or just do a single player test?

Feb 1 2010, 9:45 pm LooKe Post #34

When you do send it to the lucky ones you should let them know how you want them to test it/and what you want them to test.

lol

Looks like the pancakes are offering serious resistance! If you need a single palyer test, don't forget to send me the map.

Wow it gets pretty hard. I've been losing a lot of my units lol. I found an error though. You put Zobie Samples instead of Zombie Samples for the cocoon.

Error #2 that I found: For objective #15, you put Eeport instead of Report.

I beat the whole game. I got the Money Really Matters award :P.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
