I'm a "noob" currently makin' a game called Domination which is a TS/HS concept map, cept with a dirrerent style of game play. However due to the length of time it takes to make a game like this I'm seeking help in making it. I've already got the 10 hero's who'll be in it and made the map. I've wrtten out the spell... only they're still on paper. If your a talented map maker with nothing better to do, would you mind helping me? I don't believe I can do this alone. Thank you.

These threads never end well. The only way for you to get such help is to start on it now, and get people who are currently on bnet to help you out, and perhaps they may be convinced to trigger for you. I wish you the best of luck, but you're not going to get someone to do your work for you. The best we can offer is and answer to "How do I do X"? The wiki and this help forum are extensive resources which can provide you with lots of answers.

As a side note, we already have 20 AoS clones throughout SC and WC and HoN. While they all have their advantages, I highly doubt it will achieve the success TS enjoys.

If you still want to make the map, please make a post about it in the map production thread to get ideas (and possibly a better place to ask for help, just make sure you read+follow the rules).

Even though this is UMS Mapmaking Assistance, it's not the place to recruit people to make a map for you.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
