Anybody have any info on how to connect to these servers? I tried googling but I can't find a reliable English source.

Found this: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=47337 but only the "NIC" server under Brain works, topic still not solved.

Brain server banned american IP's.
To get on Fish Server, either add it in the registry editor, or using a gateway editor. (IMO registry editing is quicker and easier)
To add fish server, (This is for XP computers, though I'm sure Vista/W7/and older verions can do the same, just slightly different from the process I'm about to describe)
Go to start (yes that green button with the windows logo on it), then click "run"
Type in : regedit
Once your in the registry editor (the steps may vary slightly) open the following :
1> HKEY_CURRENT_USER
2> SOFTWARE
3> BATTLE.NET
4> CONFIGURATION
Once your in configuration folder, To the right, there should be some paper looking thing (two of em), one of them should have "gateway" somewhere there (usually the bottom one)
Double click it for a small box. You should see the following in that small box :
Code
1001
01
uswest.battle.net
8
U.S. West
useast.battle.net
6
U.S. East
asia.battle.net
-9
Asia
europe.battle.net
-1
Europe

Add these two lines :
Code
bnetd.fishbattle.net
-9
[Anything, it'll change once you log on]

Once you've done that, simply exit out of the registry editor, and check your starcraft gateways. The [Anything] part should be there, load it up and make an account (if you dont have) and there you go, you're on fish. Hope that helped. ^^

Note : If you dont see the server, try doing it while on a normal server or with sc closed.

Many thanks, but when I try to connect onto that server I get an error saying I'm unable to connect to the server and the server may be invalid, this error also occurred when I tried other various servers (except the "NIC" one mentioned earlier, so I know I'm doing it right). Does this error happen with you?

Red classic.

I would prefer something in English.

Edit: Works now, thanks Sorrow_Faith. Guess it was just a temporary problem.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
