So i'm playing some korean hero vs hero map and they have a common upgrade system. upgrade 'attacks' so your minerals get set to 1 so you can globally upgrade. But they also use minerals for armor by giving you 1000 mins for a 1000 mineral upgrade when you purchase the 'defense' upgrade. ok no problem. but the thing that im wondering is this: once you upgrade defense you have 1k mins sitting in your bank....so obviously you would try to upgrade your weapons. But it somehow knows that you are upping your weapons and removes the building then gives it back to you and resets the money.

BAH typing this it hit me how to do this. just ahve a trigger saying if the player has a strange number of minerals (ie. 994 or 993) that means that they used some of their 1k mins to upgrade weapons. so you'd just have to make the upgrade last long enough so the trigger can recognize this and fire to take the building away and reset the mins.

sorry for the dumb post....which i'm still posting cuz i typed the damn thing.

also. havent been here in years. missed it!

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Pretty sure the map is "Athlit", and also why you don't have instant ups.

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Zoan -- Heinermann
Heinermann shouted: it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased
Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
