IP: He knows how to get down and dirty. He’ll usually pick Arachna, or Scout for the lulz. A typical start for IP is going 3-0 and dominating the match-up, rushing to Thunderclaw and Elder Parasite. With Arachna, he is almost unstoppable. He sometimes does get carried away when chasing, but besides that, he is the carry that leads us to victory every game. He’s also a decent team player, willing to put himself in the way of others to help them escape. Perhaps our strongest player right now, he is always ready to solo our mid and help gank any lane that needs help. The only area where he may improve is expanding his hero selection, if Arachna is picked, his effectiveness is dulled greatly.

Kow: Kow is a mixed bag. On the one hand, he plays excellent support when he can; occasionally he can also help carry our team to a victory. His specialized role is probably the carry that can gank: Slither, Nighthound and Sand Wraith. He’s always ready to rush in head first into a team battle without a second thought. He plays sometimes like he has a lack of attention or just refuses to pay attention to his surroundings, which leads to careless deaths and missed kills because of missed spells and opportunities. If he could tighten his game, he could become a very good player.

ForTheSwarm: Swarm is an all around player. He can play the carry, the support, and the tank. Though he may not overly excel at any one class, he is able to adapt to his situation quickly and learn how to play. Sometimes he overestimates his skill and picks a hero that he hasn’t quite mastered yet, leading to multiple deaths and idling in the fountain. Swarm also needs to work on his laning skills, last-hitting is an art that must be mastered. His sense of teamwork also needs improvement, as he may sometimes overlook nearby teammates for farming or his own survival.

Rockz: He plays one mean Pestilence, it’s probably the hero that he is most skillful at. Rockz is a heavy team-oriented player, often going out of his way to make sure that his allies leave the fray alive. Though he may have troubles landing the perfect spell on a group of enemies, he is a valuable asset due to his tenacity and grit. He also knows how to listen and act accordingly, which makes him a perfect team player. He may not be as skilled or play as much, but he is still a good player.

Hydrolisk: Hydrolisk is one of the best support players, assuming he chooses that role. His Demented Shaman and Plague Rider are perhaps his best heroes, giving him a huge presence in a team fight, demanding attention from enemies and allies alike. He has a great handle on most heroes, and goes all out in every game he plays. Hydrolisk is also very streaky, going from 9-1 in one game to 0-7 in another, but that may be just hero selection. He is sometimes overly aggressive which often leads to preemptive deaths followed by rage. He is quick to anger, and his sporadic playing times often annoy all other players. He just sometimes drops out of a game, stating no reason why, leaving his teammates out to dry. If Hydrolisk could be more properly relied on, he would be one of our best players.

Kevin: Kevin still has a long ways to go before I can give him a seal of approval. His skill level between games varies so much that I’m not sure how he does it. One game, he plays a good Bloodhunter with a decent item build, the next his Andromeda manages to feed the other team. He needs to learn situational adaptation, knowing when to stun, when to fight and when to retreat. Too often he wanders off from the team near the enemies, and gets killed. There is a delicate balance between prompt action and foolishness, and Kevin has to yet find it. Kevin’s laning phase also leaves much to be desired.

Devilesk: We all know the hero that he plays: Jeraziah. Though he has strayed into the territories of Legionnaire and Magmus, he still plays Jeraziah the best. His last-hitting skills are probably one of the best, and his aggressive play with heals early game allows him to help dominate a lane. He probably farms a little too much for his role as a support class, but who doesn’t like farming. Devilesk also gets hung on up the stats department, meaning that he wants to prolong a game that is already done, in order to farm stats. It hasn’t happened yet, but not finishing a game will allow them to come back and beat us. He is also frustrates easily, but that is his personality, he just loves winning. He always wants to gank something too, which is a good thing.

Jamal: He is developing nicely from the few games I’ve played with him. He has great map presence, assisting in ganks whenever possible. He has a good grasp of team-play and his skill is decent. I’ve only seen him play Magmus, but he did a great job of it. Though sometimes he is overly aggressive when attacking, that isn’t bad as long as no one dies on our team in the process. I’m going to need to play a few more games with him, but Jamal is probably one of our rising stars.

Almost Alive: I’ve only played a few games with Almost Alive and there is one thing that screams at me about him: map awareness. His inability to realize what is going around him leads to multiple deaths and failed ganks. He wants to be the carry that will win the game, but he hasn’t quite mastered the ability to farm and escape ganks properly. His teamplay is relatively average, and like Hydro, he lacks any real stability when playing with SEN, which leads to disconnects and lost games. I do see his potential in his game though, and with some proper item builds and laning techniques, he can be a very excellent player.
