I still play with a couple of my IRL friends.

Hello

Pretty much the same over here, Excal. You got like 4 mates? If so, how about an intern game? :bleh:

I possibly would, if you were inviting me via IM sometimes. But no, you're never on ICQ anymore. :C
When I installed windows7 I never reinstalled Trillian.
ICQ has become obsolete due to facebook.
Sorry :(

You know, Trillian has Facebook support... No need to even keep the browser open. Trillian informs you of new posts, status changes and a bazillion more "important" Facebook events.
And you don't even need to install Trillian. Just start it from your backup folder.

That being said, just add me on facebook chat (just activated in Trillian with display name NudeRaider). I have no idea how it works though so maybe we need to coordinate when we want to add each other. We could meet on a IRC channel, SEN Skype or a TS3 server. Whatever works best for you. Hit me up with am PM with your preference.

I'm still up for games, but by invite only. I normally don't play HoN on my own.

I have Skype, MSN, AIM, Google Talk, and Facebook.

HoN 3.0 is out, and with it, comes community-programmable bots (using LUA). I thought this might be of interest to the compsci and programming people here.

Hello

New graphics are awesome. I hope they somewhat change solstice; he has too much in my opinion.
She is capable of carrying (not the best carry, but still considerably), being very tanky, farm the woods permanently due to his lifelech spell.
What bothers me the most, however, is that she can stun (I still don't see why it has to be an AoE) and her ultimate seems to be broken (too strong) and to be a spell, which simply does not fit / belong to a carry. Period.
Her ultimate makes her partly an initiator while dealing massive amounts of damage.

Lodestone isn't as strong, but still a little too good.

However, still very fun to play!

Anyone care reminding me of what's a bannable offense and what isn't? This seems to have changed around a lot.

Specifically I want to know why I can't report a teammate for griefing (aka killing my stuff, like dropped items, emerald warden traps, scout eyes, etc.). Or does that count towards ability / item abuse or feeding / stat manipulation now?

I have no idea. Could be just bad luck. I haven't been playing HoN in general for a while though. I should probably play a match or two - but Dota 2 is fun lol.

Over 2300 games of Pharaoh or something. I should stop.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[06:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
