I have read in other topics that the ghost must be facing the target he is nuking and that you need Terran Brood wars 2- Town B from the run ai scripts... I created a map to test the nuke trigger. i could get the ghost to nuke a certain target totally fine. (see attachment if you like). But in a new rpg that im making, i am trying to:
1) Load the nuke in the silo i gave the computer.
2) Get the ghost to spawn at my hero (as player 6 which is a terran computer on a different force but set as my ally)
3) Target my hero with "ai nuke here" (which has a location following him)
4) Then move to ghost to another area in the map not visible to the players. (I was going for the "Meteor" type of spell.
I also threw in a trigger that orders the ghost to my hero's location so that he will be facing my hero.
As complex as that may sound, i was wondering if anybody would have a solution to this? In my test map the ghost is already there, not being created... is that the problem?
P.S. --> In the test map, move the goliath to the CC in order to start the sequence.
None.
While I have no experience with nukes or AIs, you can always move the ghost rather than create it. However, I do believe the order may have something to do with it.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
First off, if your intention was to attach a map, you might want to re-check that.
One thing that might not be working is the Nuke Silo. If that doesn't load, then the ghost will not be able to nuke. Double check to make sure that it has a nuke in it.

Like Rockz said, if the "order" action is occurring immediately after the Nuke AI, it could be overriding the Nuke AI. Try it without the "order" perhaps.

ohhh, yea the order WAS screwing it all up.. thats weird

.. i wudnt have guessed that ordering the ghost to a position before the ai nuke would screw it up. Either way, thanks for the advice!
