How do you give non-protoss units shields?
I've searched everywhere and can't find anything on the subject, but I've played a map before that did this so I know it is possible.
If anyone knows how to perform could you show me this.
I've tried just editing the unit settings in scmdraft but it defaults to 100 already and it doesn't seem to change at all, and there are no possible triggers I've seen that changes it.
I apologize if this topic is in the wrong forum section.
Thank you, and I do not mean to offend anyone in this post and if anyone finds this offensive I apologize also.
And if this is common knowledge please forgive my ignorance.
Cheers

Without modding, this is no longer possible. In older patches, it was possible to do through EUD actions, which is modifying memory using actions that cause a buffer overflow, however, this was patched quite a few patches back.

You could do it with this or with modding. When did you play the map with the non Protoss shield units? I'm betting it was a very long time ago. Point is you can't give non Protoss units shield anymore.

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.

NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
