Hello all, i've finished my map and am putting the final touches on it however the text introduction doesnt seem to be working what soever. I would like it to go like this:
¸,ø¤º°Tales Of Valor°º¤ø,¸
¸,ø¤º°Tales Of Valor°º¤ø,¸
¸,ø¤º°Tales Of Valor°º¤ø,¸
¸,ø¤º°Tales Of Valor°º¤ø,¸
etc etc all the way down until the text is all purple.
The problem is the text just appears all white, and then disappears after the first action. What am I doing wrong?
My trigger goes as follows

What does it look like in the string editor?

Are you using hyper triggers? Either way, those 1 milli waits are useless. SC will never actually wait only 1 mili
they all get rounded up to a 2 frame delay.

Well I also tried using 100 millisecond waits and the same thing happened.
Looks like it should in the string editor just nothing happens in game.

Well, if you don't have any hyper triggers, nothing's going to move fast. Regardless of whether or not it's the problem here, I suggest you get right on those.

If it's in the mission briefing, it's not going to show purple--it'll display black.
Don't know if that's the problem, but it's worth a shot.
Its in game so not in the mission briefing, I 1 wait trigger other than this, just flashes my name every 15 minutes but thats it. I had waits on before but some of my spawns would spawn so fast that it spawned twice.
EDIT: Added hyper triggers, nothing changes.
Edit2: Regardless, after the 1st text action shows up nothing else does in the trigger.

It does appear to be a problem with wait blocks, as rockz said above. If you haven't read the article he linked you to, please read it now.
Whats probably happening is you have another wait running at the same time. Whatever player you test the map as, look for other waits owned by that player. If there are any at all, that means you're running into wait blocks.
Each player can only run 1 wait at a time or else this happens.

If you read the article you'll figure out that when a player runs 2 waits at the same time, they stack until both finish. So that means you wait 900001 milliseconds, then display both your name and the 2nd part of the trigger in question. Get rid of all your waits, since death counters are much better and more accurate.

What you should do, is use death counts, they work perfect for me, and dont cause those wait blocks...
1 death count is perfect with hypertriggers.
