Nothing personal, but there is a high chance that Nerdy is mafia. If he is mafia, it is obvious that his fellow mafia members would vote for him to take influence over the town. And that means he would be invincible unless we lynch our own townie bodyguards. Don't make a mistake guys!

That logic is a bit flawed. Since the point of the game is to survive, everyone shouldn't want to die. Rolling over and playing dead doesn't prove anything ;o


Why is it that no one knows how the roles work? The mayor is always LYNCHABLE. He just isn't killable via hits until his bodyguards are dead.

Also, please give some evidence to back up your claim that there is a 'high chance that Nerdy is mafia.'. This is far too vague and doesn't help anyone.

Actually, I recall at least one game where payne was a regular townie and was suicidal. If my memory serves correctly, he tends to get more mad when he is getting lynched when he's mafia than when he's town. Currently he seems pretty mad. I'm not certain of anything, but based on my current knowledge, payne is my most likely suspect.

The mafia don't always put up one of their own as a candidate. And it's generally a good strategy for the mafia to jump ship if their candidate is floundering, so as not to all end up being connected to one of them that may go down. Your assumptions are too straight forward, you have to extend your mind to think of the mind tactics the mafia is likely to be using.

Yeah i would have to agree if i was mafia i would not vote for a mafia guy because then once its found out the mayor is mafia of course everyone will think the voters are mafia too.

Mafia would most likely say they wouldn't do things straight forward. But in reality, they would actually do it.

And there are more than 6 people voting for someone who might be mafia. How would the town know who is mafia and who isn't? It's like running into a crowd and hiding inside.

I admit the clue seems a little too obvious when pointing to payne, but with a new clue author it's probably a good idea to test the clue. If payne is mafia, I feel it exonerates Nerdy to a certain degree; if he isn't, then it's back to square one.

To payne: If you're a regular townie, I apologize, but I think it's worth a death to investigate the clue styles. If you're holding a vital role, I implore you to trust me. We can get you off the lynching hook and ensure you will survive/have doctor protection tonight.

NerdyTaffy, i think that saying your a doctor right at the beginning of the game and wanting the mayor position, laying down all your cards at the beginning, going for the aggressive style, would make no sense if you were a townie, or a good special role. Unless the doctor guarantees you protection every turn, it wouldn't make sense since you would die at the beginning by the mafia. But if you were mafia then you wouldn't get killed by mafia and you would accomplish the highest rank on us. If you would, explain your strategy lol. Cause now i am confused.

And lynching payne seems like the best idea right now. Cause his skill at finding clues isn't the greatest. If we were to keep him, he would blurt out random clues that make no sense, like he did with Kaias and Ashamed earlier today lol. I dont know how he acts in other games but im going to trust everyone's judgement of how he acts, and vote Payne when the mayor ballot is done

I'm having a lot of fingers pointed at me for some reason, and I don't like it, whether it's because I was a mayoral candidate early on or whatever or you think the clue applies to me somehow or not, (and someone interpreted my ":D" as eager to move on to night, which is just ridiculous) but let's hold our horses a bit and wait until we have something a little more solid to stand on before we ground our conclusions.

Early in the game, time is the ally of the town, since the discussion that takes place may be analyzed and they far outnumber the mafia (as far as I see it anyway), so let's use what we have while we have it.

I would have much preferred to be mayor myself since, as with the rest of you, I'm the only person I can trust at the moment, but it looks like nerdy is going to win, so instead of babbling uselessly about who's what, when we don't really have much to go on, let's focus on what we can do tonight or tomorrow.

Tonight, people are going to die obviously. After we see that, we'll have our first real data to look at, THEN we should start pointing fingers.

For now, I'd say: boondocks don't kill anyone yet, detectives hold your peace, but doctors still place your protections. That way the doctors at least will know someone who is town if their person gets hit, but boondocks are more likely to hit townies at the moment and detectives might waste their actions on a townie, I think they should wait until tomorrow night to do anything.
