Is there a way (in any shape or form) to have a sound file playing, and have it stop wherever it's at in order to play a new sound file?
Say, I want a music file to be playing, but half-way through it, the player reaches a point or whatnot, and I want the music to change to a new track?
Is that possible?

None.

There is no trigger to stop a wav, generally people use Death Counters and split the wav up into smaller bits and cycle through them.
