After perusing the aformentioned wiki I have begin experimenting with overlaping unit names but faily miserably.

Mainly because I can only put in so many characters into the text box before the comp starts beeping at me. (you know when its full) SO is there anyway to fix this? I am using SCMDraft2

Hey guys this just in: I just discovered that copy pasting doesn't work :( :(

Also the overlap generator worked without colours but when I try putting in colours and then generating it fails :( :( :(

Anyway around this?

First, make the unit name custom so it appears in the string editor. Then open the string editor and manually edit it there, there's even a list on the right of the colors. Use string editor.

Yeah, don't generate with the colors in it, change the color codes later, after the basic generation.

aah i found the problem guys:

i was using this <14> <12> etc. instead of these:

this way i can fit it all in the txt box.

EDIT: um the overlap generator doesn't work when my unit name has spaces aka demon master

To circumvent the small size of the unit name textbox name the unit to anything short, then go to the string editor and paste the full name there.
This is another thing I'll recommend to SI to change in his next ScmD version.

This works for me and it works when you add colors to it.

What does the @@@@@@@@.... and the WWWWWWWW.... mean?

Those are used in order to make the overlap work, they just take up space, the text color for them is set to invisible.
