Hey guys. Agian. Me and my friend have recently decided to finish an RPG we once started, Naruto Legendary RPG. This has heppened before we made the Final version in vBETA, but for the final version we want to squish this incredibally annoying bug.
The bug is:
Randomly, when you start the game after it gets to the game screen [After Mission Objectives] it will show the fancy colored intro. During the beginning of this intro, random people will either drop or everyone will drop or nobody will drop. [Grammar] We're not sure how this bug is caused, we've tried removing the intro and etc. So, anyone out there:
PLEASE HELP FIXING THIS DROPPING BUG!!

Are you using any extended conditions(EUD)?
Could be a glitching anti-maphack or something.
None.
There is no anti-map hack, no EUDs. I dont know wut ur saying, Mobius?
None.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
Maybe sprites?
but you have only trees... I guess that couldn't cause drops.
I once played a defense map that if ever someone built a scarab they dropped. It was not intended this way but apparently this adverse effect existed.
Maybe something similar is happening?

Well if there are no methods used that can specifically cause a desync, it's most likely a connection problem.
Building a scarab can't drop you, but it can crash you(0 build time).
I think we might have fixed it.
It wa sthe tanks in the beginning, seems that whenever they got done sieging the people would drop. So we made it so after everyone chooses it would then make the tanks..
Is this a plausible solution; would this be a fix to a problem?
And also, this happens in a lot of maps. When you kill a unit, it's death body doesn't stay. This isn't a problem, but i'm wondering what causes this?

Of course. I can't believe I didn't recognize that right off.

Most likely the maker has an exploding unit or something in the corner, using up sprites, so the corpse doesn't stick around long since there's a limited number of corpses on the map at a time.

As to the siege tanks, you may be able to (if preferred) keep them before the players choose.
The problem may very well be that the siege tanks (for whatever reason) have been disabled. When they siege, it changes into a different unit, a tank in Siege mode. Tanks that are Sieged are Crashers, so maybe if the players are looking at the siege tanks (Which would explain the seemingly 'random' characteristic of the problem) while they are being sieged or something, it may have a "Dropping" effect, which is actually just a crash in disguise.
The solution to this is simple: Make sure the players can't see the siege tanks in siege mode, if they're disabled.
