Recent Conversation. Perhaps Echo called in the hit on Dapperdan, and someone else killed yoshi for the lulz?

The way Dapper throws around the words 'obviously' and various other certainties and near-absolutes is amusing.

Since not doing anything in these games so much has become boring, I think...
I cast my vote... randomly!

Well, the hit attempt was before they started arguing, so if it's not anything that started outside of this thread...

I still don't have any new guesses..

But, WoA, it was the Boondock Saint that killed Yoshi, wasn't it..?

Offtopic: I entered the numbers 1-20 on the random list generator on random.org, and was hoping for my favorite number. ( 19 ). The first try, it was 19. Freaky, right? O.O!

The next time, I thought it was either 10 or 8. It was 18. O.o

( 10 + 8 = 18 )

Wow, I just guessed seven, and it was seven. That's three.. kinda right, in a row, out of 5% chance. I'm one lucky guy. I'm not going to guess again or my luck might run out :P

He had the sniper rifle, but he didn't necesarily make the kill, if I remember correctly.

Sep 30 2007, 11:32 pm Dapperdan Post #289

The mafia made the kill and the sniper rifle was stolen by the boondock saint which would be used as the explanation for how the boondock got his weapon that he would be using to kill people later in the game. So, yeah.

Moose, are you going to make it night yet? The majority of the voters have voted for Echo or Syphon's drenched corpse.

Yeah, I think it's hopeless for EcHo now. :P

Causing quite a stir, EcHo was hurled off a cliff, impaled into the jagged rocks below. Satisfied with the bloodshed for the day, the town breaks off the meeting and go back home to sleep.

Another one bites the dust. It's getting more difficult to make more obvious clues that aren't give-aways. They'll damn well be fun to explain at the end, though. :P

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[06:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor
[02:28 am]
Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
[2026-7-15. : 2:19 am]
Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
