I can't get a dam thing working in this. More detail coming soon, but if anyone wants to poke around, here's the map.(just in case you find something glaring) There aren't that many triggers if you just want to give it a once over.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Yes, it will run. The condition adds up all specified units for "force 1."

The map you provided confuses me. For one thing, I can't find the trigger of which you speak. You have hidden it well, or perhaps, it does in fact not exist. Secondly, all of your players, namely those who have marines, are not in force 1, but in force 2.

Just a heads up: You should give this trigger to a computer player rather than a force. Otherwise, it will run multiple times. Unless, of course, you're just using player-specific actions.

I wish I could provide more information, but there wasn't much to go off of...

1. Check and make sure you have the trigger.
2. Make sure that you have the force in the condition correct.

Cheers.

yeah hypothetical question, but updated first post. Pretty much what I need now is for aldaris to have as many deaths as there are hero marines(The Living)

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

P:
- ("Living" Players)
C:
- Current Player brings at least 1 Jim Raynor (Marine) to Anywhere
- Current Player has suffered exactly 0 deaths of Aldaris (Templar)
A:
- Modify deaths for Current Player: Set to 1 for Aldaris (Templar)

P:
- ("Living" Players)
C:
- Current Player brings at most 0 Jim Raynor (Marine) to anywhere
- Current Player has suffered exactly 1 death of Aldaris (Templar)
A:
- Modify deaths for Current Player: Set to 0 for Aldaris (Templar)

Then the total number of deaths of force 1 will reflect the total number of hero marines remaining. Or am I overlooking something? (You can add preserves if for some reason you want to have a revival system).

Alright got the forces working, now I fear the only thing that will not work that blue teal white and pruples locations do not center. I'm really lost on this one. The triggers are made exactly the same, and are at the top of their respective player's list.

Here's nearly fixed map.[attach=2479]

I suppose it DOES center, but when the unit dies and you want to do something there, the center location trigger still runs (condition always) but can't find a unit, so it is centered on Anywhere.
Fix: Change condition always to "Current Player brings at least 1 [men] to anywhere

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
