Okay I'm having some problems with my spells within my new map I've been working on. I'll post the triggers to make it easier help me.

Trigger
Players

  • Player 2
  • Conditions

  • Player 2 accumulates at least 25 gas.
  • Player 2 brings exactly 1 Terran Marine to Dropship Ground
  • Actions

  • Center View location Spells
  • Modify resources subtrack 25 gas
  • Create 1 Dark Templar at Spells for player 2. Apply Proporties
  • Display for current player "Limit Braver"
  • Modify death counts for player 2 set to 16 for Protoss Zealot


  • Trigger
    Players

  • Player 2
  • Conditions

  • Always
  • Actions

  • Modify death counts for player 2 subtract 1 for Protoss Zealot
  • Preserve Trigger


  • Trigger
    Players

  • Player 2
  • Conditions

  • Player 2 suffered exactly 0 deaths of Protoss Zealot
  • Player 2 brings exactly 1 Dark Templar to Anywhere
  • Actions

  • Remove all Dark Templar for player 2
  • preserve trigger

    Never mind please lock, me and Moogle figured out what was the problem.

    Oh and the problem was the hyper triggers, I had them set to "all players" instead of "force 1"

    Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

    Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

    Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

    NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
