The vote that you've already cast in the poll remains unchanged. HOWEVER, you have the ability to add 2 extra votes to a fellow tribe member. You don't have to use your special voting power on the same person you voted for in the poll.

(Note: I don't add the extra votes to the polls, I keep track of them by looking at the topic posts, sort of like how Moose does in the Mafia games. At the end of the round I add or subtract the special votes from the poll results.)

Hopefully this diagram outlining normal voting and special voting will help. A player may use only ONE special vote per round.
