Kievan Rus

Economic Policy
Corporations, both internal and foreign have access to the public, leading to a general capitalistic policy. However, the Kievan Rus government has a very large economic sector that dominates the market in arms, medicine, food (buys from farmers at appropriate prices) and all other necessities inside the country. Additionally, the Kievan Rus government reserves the right to interfere with foreign companies wishing to do business inside, up to the extreme of forcibly evicting/attacking/taking them over. This has never happened yet.

Political System
President of Kievan Rus is referred to as the 'Czar' (lul). He is elected by the Duma (parliament), which selects its own members while the overall approval rating is above 50% and who are publicly elected when otherwise. Parliamentary officials can be dismissed if less then 2/3 of the parliament supports them and the Czar wants them gone. Local officials are elected, but the Czar can overrule any election. Courts are closely associated with the state.
