I'm trying for ideas, or ways to try and move a cloaked bunker beneath a tank and constantly move it.. For some reason you can't move cloaked bunkers..

anyway to pull this off OR any other ideas that might relate to this? I'd appreciate it

To my knowledge, moving a bunker will 'leave' the units in the original location, the basis of this effect.

When you say cloaked bunker, do you mean cloaked via Disable Doodad State, or cloaked by moving it to begin with?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

As for other ideas you could move a wraith or whatever unit you like.

Buildings cause several problems:
Bunkers - leave units behind
Photons - Power problems (you can constantly enable it to power it)
Sunken - Create creep
All of them - difficult to place. You need a mobile grid to place them off the unit (doesn't work auto like for units) and if you're near a cliff it might still fail.

Well, I think your problem is a bit obvious, unless I'm misreading what you're saying, since you cannot move the bunker underneath a tank, they can't stack..

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
