Good luck on your endeavor. Also, make sure it can be easily modified as opposed to hard-coded. ;o
I'm afraid it will have to be hard-coded, but there's like, nothing to mod anyway. Though if you want, I can write you a "generic RTS engine" afterwords which you can use to create your own game.

And by "demo," I hope you don't mean "half-finished with strings still missing in gameplay." Also, your balance will suck, so you should make your game easily modifiable so I can balance it for you. :D:D:D:D
Just for that, I'm leaving all the strings out.

As for balance, the only possible imbalance is Special morphs, and there's only a few of them so I can balance them myself. For the rest, I've worked out a formula that will balance it for me. :P

It will fail. YES

So, what is it?

I've gotten all the core code written. All that's left is getting organs to draw in the correct location, and multiplayer (ugh). Does anyone know of a good multiplayer library?

EDIT: Nevermind, google ftw.

Minor update: I've decided to scrap the Overcruiser class of ship. Unit production will instead be handled by a Warship with a Genesis morph. Think this is a good idea?

EDIT: You will start with a Warship with a Genesis morph and a Harvest morph, to make start-up faster. You will also have enough starting Biomatter to create a small fleet (3-5 ships) pretty quickly.

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Zoan -- Heinermann
Heinermann shouted: it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased
Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative

NudeRaider -- I only heard about it, didn't any news article, so what did it do then?
