Extracting SC .GRPs?

I tried looking around but the only thing I could find was this tutorial http://www.staredit.net/topic/440/

I downloaded RetroGRP and followed the instruction but couldn't get the .grps
Clicking on 'Locate Archive and selecting StarDat.mpq comes up as "Errrrrror", and I couldn't locate .grps anywhere.

I tried opening StarDat.mpq in WinMPQ, but nothing came up.

So, basically I'm asking, how do I get the .grps?

None.

Lord of the Locker Room

Use winmpq to extract the grps (make sure you have the list file or all you get is unknowns), then open them in shadowflare's grp converter. You'll also need the palettes.

Don't use retrogrp for anything other than previewing as it can and does distort graphics.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

SFGRPConv for actually converting, and GRPEdit (though it's hard to find.) for previews.
