Are there anyways to command a computer to merge high templars, be it the use of AI scripts or additional units needed?
I thought it would be nice to have the stasis overlay on an Archon for effect.
None.

Melee AIs will do it eventually, but there's no reliable way.
Maybe if you trapped them next to eachother and gave them zero energy, whilst playing melee ai script and having a marine attack them or something.
None.

Can't you just stasis a pre-placed archon?
None.
Can't you just stasis a pre-placed archon?
No, because the archon won't be able to attack or move freely.
None.

What do you mean? You can move or order it just like any other unit. The only thing is that (I think) preplaced units are not included in attack waves that are sent by a melee AI.
I meant that the Archon is not in the 'Stasis' state, but has the Stasis graphic on it.
None.
Why not have it a requirement for them to merge two templars to start the map?
None.

Not quite what I was looking for, but I think I'll use the Dark Archon one in a different part.
None.

This still doesn't make sense to me. Is there a glitch I don't know about?
Please explain in full what you want.

There is a glitch, that if you merge two high templars together, and while they are the faceless archon, you cast stasis on them. Once the effect of the stasis wears off, the archon finishes merging but still has the stasis overlay on it. The archon behaves as completely normal and overlay will stay until the archon dies. (This effect works the same way with Dark Archons)
I just wanted some way of having this effect done for me via computer/trigs/editor, without having to have to manually do it in a game.
None.

I think this:
Is the only reliable way to get the effect you need since you can't force computers to do it.
And then for the stasis:

None.
That way wouldn't work because the faceless archon is just a normal archon without a face, and cannot attack. I would need the archon able to attack, or else it wouldn't work in my map. I just need an two high templars while they are merging.
None.
i dont know the idea of how to merge archons with AI, but i do know what he is talking about...
Frozen Archons...
I'll show an image when i get it done in SC...
Edit: Here it is
