#1) Is that SC2->SC1 Mod having any progress? Will it get a forum here?
#2) I always thought the following few ideas would be pretty sweet for a mod. Have these been used in any?

1)Shade (Observer without attack which is invisible, in WC3)
2)Supply Trucks (No Attack)
3)Entrench Ability for infantry (Like Command & Conquer)
4)Immoblize Spell
5)JumpJet/Jetpack Infantry
6) Zeppelins (Sounds awesome)

None.

1) Observers are observers. They meet your criteria without being modded.
2) Not to my knowledge, but I have something like that planned for a mod that I may or may not ever get back to/finish.
3) Not to my knowledge.
4) This already exists as Stasis Field/Malestrom/Lockdown.
5) I'm not sure this is even possible, but I've given it thought. To my knowledge, it has not been applied to any mods.
6) .grp an air unit to look like a blimp. :ermm:

In fact, Warcraft 2 had a Zeppelin unit, you could just convert the .grp's to Starcraft... though I think there are more angles in SC.

Unless if we recover the old threads and all modders somehow get a miracle boost of motivation, I doubt the project will ever move.

#2) I always thought the following few ideas would be pretty sweet for a mod. Have these been used in any?

1)Shade (Observer without attack which is invisible, in WC3) Hasn't been done.
2)Supply Trucks (No Attack) I'm planning on doing something related.
3)Entrench Ability for infantry (Like Command & Conquer) Hasn't been done.
4)Immoblize Spell lol lockdown
5)JumpJet/Jetpack Infantry Has been done.
6) Zeppelins (Sounds awesome) Hasn't been done.
All of these are possible and most are incredibly easy to do.

None.

The problem with the mod was I couldn't do anything more than the final plugin stuff, but people expected more from me. It's dropped off of my stuff for now.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations
[10:12 pm]
Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago
[05:47 pm]
NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

NudeRaider -- Oh_Man
Oh_Man shouted: NudeRaider did u watch the entire video? it's not one game. it's currently dominating the ladder at number 1 position. do ur research first!
Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NudeRaider -- NimoStar
NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".

NimoStar -- Well, pros showed that long ago... half of zerg pros just ling muta rush
[08:35 am]
NimoStar -- " its shown is that you can trade 1000's of apm to make up for lack of strategy"
