Well, I know we all go digging through the beta at some point, but this time I found some things of use: Sounds. Contains a lot of interesting things from SC's history I think everyone should hear.

Have a listen:

Just here for the activity... well not really

Ooh, nice. I like that SC unused Zerg sound, it sounds like a super hydralisk.

The Old Terran Adviser is such a female British robot.

The Marines voices are awesome, sucks how it just got replaces by the Terran Adviser saying "Your forces are under attack".

Sad how the "Unable to attack Target" have been replaced by an error sound with white centered text "Invalid Target" and "Unable to attack target."

I can believe that the Protoss Carrier warnings used to be the original Protoss Adviser.

The original SCV harvesting sounds more realistic than we have hear officially.

The Civilian acts a bit more tougher, yet his voice has a homosexual redneck tone.

The Phoenix (Wraith)'s original cloak and uncloak sounds are also more realistic than we hear officially.

The unused acid sound is probably the Hydralisk's original attack sound.

The Siege Tank impact sounds awesome! Much more realistic than we hear officially.

Third Stim... :omfg:

Are you sure about that?

Acid used to belong to Mutalisks, and it dealt 30 damage, but as you may imagine it was terribly imbalanced. Those days the queen used to have the Mutalisks' attack, however it didn't bounce. Then decided the Queen would only function as a Spellcaster, and the attack that was originaly made for the Queen would be used by Mutalisks, and to re-balance things up a bit, they made it bounce.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oh_Man shouted: NudeRaider did u watch the entire video? it's not one game. it's currently dominating the ladder at number 1 position. do ur research first!
Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NudeRaider -- NimoStar
NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
