The intention is to be done with minerals and not reset them anymore. But we'll see.

::Update 1::
Name changes now possible via "My controls". Everyone starts off with 1 free name change. More would have to be purchased
I'll be erasing the old unvalidated members later. These are people who signed up but never actually validated their accounts. So if you screwed up on the register form and had to use a different name, and would like to use that name, you will be able to soon. Soon enough, I'll change the register / validate thing to make it more forgiving.

::Update 2::
Store reopened. Which basically concludes this update series, more or less. Some items won't work properly at the moment, pending other scripts (clan colors requires clan script to be done, shoutbox colors works, but needs shoutbox update to display, file advertising isn't working atm, pending portal + dldb update... and yeah).

::Update 3::
All old unvalidated members (about 400 names) have been deleted. So if you registered a name that you couldn't validate, you can now take that name back through name changing.

Note: I reset everyone's mineral n/a status. You can, of course, reapply if desired.

Who cares about minerals anyway, we lost everything from our old accounts when the site was re-done and I think minerals were the least of it. I must say I like the way the site is getting put up again. Also looking very modern--potentially ready for Starcraft II when it comes out to be an editing resource for that game as well perhaps .

Out of curiousity... are all the fines for spamming that were built up over time reapplied when minerals are recalculated?

Oh yey!! I have always wanted a name change because I couldn't add the '2' in Joshgt2 when I tried signing up...

EDIT: It still won't change my name to my old Joshgt2 I had on the v4 forums. IP, can you delete my old 'Joshgt2' name from v4 so I can change my current account to it now. Oh could I also get the minerals on that account too, (no I'm just kidding, you don't have to do that part)

Your name on v4 shouldn't cause any problems.

It did for some reason... I couldn't have my password sent to me or anything and I didn't forget my password because I use a master password for everything...

You tried to register joshgt2 (before you signed in as joshgt) but never validated it.
