Memers

Memer - Just an ordinary Memer, trying to make a living in this memetastic world.
Abilities: Meme – Makes dank memes. Has no actual effect.

IMO - He's super opinionated. He can coerce the votes in his favor.
Abilities: Meme – Memes so hard he secures extra votes. Any vote he casts will be doubled, but will appear as a single vote to the public.

Bernie Sanders - The Mayor of Memesville. Gets sworn in on Day 1 after the Memers have voted for the candidates. He’s protected by so many memes that he can’t be killed at night. He can only be lynched during the day.
Abilities: Free Meme – Gives free memes to someone, allowing them to go to the hospital barring injury. Can be used once per night to save a Memer from death.

SMH - He gets a lot of headaches. He basically disapproves of everything everyone does, so he stays to himself. With the death of so many memers, he’s purchased some extra protection.
Abilities: Memeproof (Passive) – He’s purchased a meme-proof vest that makes him almost impervious to all outside memes. He needs to be hit with two memes in order to die, rather than the usual one.

IDK - He doesn’t know much, but he’s trying to learn.
Abilities: Meme – Follow someone at night and see who they visit and who visited them.

SHITTY MEMERS

LYAO - He laughs your ass off. AKA, he kills you.
Abilities: Meme – Memes so hard someone laughs their ass off and dies.

Excalibur - He tries his hardest to meme, but he’s just not capable.
Abilities: Meme – Uses the worst meme of all, which is dragging someone into a game of Rise of Empires. That person is stuck in the game for rest of the night, and can’t use any memes.

Mad Memeist - He spends all day and night trying to come up with new memes, almost to the point of insanity.
Abilities: Memesanity Potion – Drinks a potion that makes him invulnerable to all other memes for 24 hours. During this time, he can’t be killed in any way. Used at night, and the effects last until the start of the next night. Can be used once per game.
Abilities: Mad AF – He’s super mad that nobody pays attention to his memes. So, he disables all other memes for the night. During this night, no other memes (except for shitty memes) can be used. Can be used once per game.

Let's go back three months. Memesville was the dankest place you could visit. Fresh memes being made daily, and everyone loved them. You walked past the town square, and everyone was exuberant, laughing their behinds off and rolling on the ground in laughter. The mayor was the dankest of all the citizens. Every morning, he'd come out to the town square and converse with his people. As dank as he was, he still had the respect of the town.

But he started becoming too dank. Every day, it'd be the same memes being spewed over and over again. Eventually, people got tired of it. Some tried to tell him to calm down, but he just laughed his ass off in response. He'd roll on the floor laughing, and the townsfolk would slowly walk away with their heads down, cursing that this day had come.

The mayor had gone insane with the memes.

Eventually, the mayor stopped coming outside. He stayed in his home all day, and if you listened carefully, you could still hear him rolling and laughing. With no proper leadership, the town eventually started to lose its dankness. People started to lose hope. There were a few who tried continued to make new memes, but most everyone had lost the will to do so. This allowed the rise of the Shitty Memers.

They thought they were funny. They thought they were dank. But nobody believed in them. The townsfolk could see that if they took charge of the memes, the town would quickly crumble into oblivion. As the Shitty Memers rose in power, many resisted the change. But one by one, the most outspoken rebels mysteriously died or disappeared.


Skip forward to the present. The streets are barren. Nobody meets in the town square anymore. Along the once bright and clean walls of the stores and houses is spray painted, "We're all women here!" It has truly become a sad time in Memesville. Outside the mayor's home, his secretary pins a doctrine to a board. The few townsfolk that are around gather to read it.

My people, I know that many of you have begun to lose faith in my ability to lead. IMO, I feel the same way. I let the memes get to my head, and they've clouded my judgement. I see how greatly our town has suffered, and I know now that I can no longer be the leader you all need. There's an old friend that I think would fit the part perfectly. He's incredibly dank, IMO. He's been working his whole life to make the lives of the less fortunate better. I think you'll all love him.

It is with this letter that I announce my resignation as mayor of Memesville. I regret having to inform you all of this through a letter, but my shitty ankle prohibited me from walking out of my house, LMAO. Anyways, I thank you all for the support over the years, and I hope that this town can regain its former dankness.
