Well, some strings in game change colour to grey, why is this??? :(

When you use the grey color, and then another color right after it, the grey "overrides" the next color somehow. I doubt anyone knows why, but thats just how it happens. Don't use grey until the end of a string.

To clarify slightly - using the grey colour code will override *all* other codes until the end of the string.

You can use overlaps to combine grey and [insert colour here] in a rather tasteful manner.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Most of the available colors in briefings are black.
TITLE/MISSION BRIEFING COLORS
01 - Mimick(Default: Cyan)
02 - Cyan
03 - Green
04 - Light Green
05 - Grey
06 - White
07 - Red
08 - Black
09 - Tab
0A - Newline
0B - Invisible
0C - Remove beyond
0E - Black
0F - Black
10 - Black
11 - Black
12 - Right Align
13 - Center Align
14 - Invisible
15 - Black
16 - Black
17 - Black
18 - Black
19 - Black
1A - Black/Cyan?
1B - Black
1C - Black

But I don't know how many of them deny further color changes.

Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

Should only be Invisible and Grey that stop further changes. Never toyed around with invisible, but as a rule of thumb both colors override all proceeding colors.

I'm interested to know what possible use invisible could have that couldn't be done with the spacebar.

Using it to do overlapping can be helpful, or so I've heard, so you can get the right lengths of text.
