Just here for the pie

Sounds very sexy, and what do you mean by a wet yourself atmosphere, because most SC maps aren't scary, if not, all of them aren't. Sign me up for the tester list :} .

Oh yeah, and heres a cool name I thought of: The Forsaken Dead, I know it sounds stupid, but it's not THAT bad, you know?

@the atmosphere question: none are to me...but some of the more popular SEN members (and maplantis) say that they get scared playing the horror maps...so I decided to broadcast it like that. Plus the ambushes (pretty damn well the only way you recieve any sort of attack) catch you off guard.

@The Name: There really aint many zombies in the map...most are alien things...

UPDATE
-Thy map is cristened: Lost Contact
-Story Updated
-Progress Updated

2871 : Unidentified Creatures, Not sure if thats much of a name, but you could start the storyline like that.

Testing of level 1 and 2 soon. We need to organize a time to test.

For me: any time between 2:15pm-8:30pm in GMT -4:00 Atlantic Time (Canada) is ok on weekdays. Weekends just about whenever the hell i want.

Alright I've done a few more adjustments and now the map has a BASIC story...perhaps frightening for some. Ship crash, Pilot dies, Lieutenant gets cocky and dies.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
