That's insufficient at best, and implicitly hostile at worst. I felt it important to be transparent about our policies rather than being enigmatic, hence why I supplemented your remarks with my own.[2022-10-22. : 3:52 am] Roy -- The Staff is willing to cooperate with these types of requests, but we need to understand the underlying goal of the request, and you need to understand the limitations we have to help achieve that goal.[2022-10-22. : 3:48 am] Roy -- We don't have the mechanisms to fully delete accounts. What do we do with topics you've created? Posts you've made? Posts that quoted and replied to your posts? We can rename the account to something like [deleted user] and ban the account, but that doesn't completely erase your presence. We don't have a process for removing the content from all your posts, and I don't think we have any active developer to implement such a feature. |
