[2017-8-10. : 6:45 pm] Pr0nogo -- I agree, which is why I don't see why 1.16.1 would be jeopardized by discussing it openly[2017-8-10. : 6:41 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- Pr0nogoPr0nogo shouted: Must have been because of the 10 years during which they've done nothing That's management though, nothing to do with the quality of the devs[2017-8-10. : 6:39 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- Pr0nogoPr0nogo shouted: What do you write SCMDraft in? C++? ScmDraft? Delphi / pascal. ScmDraft 2: C++[2017-8-10. : 6:39 pm] Pr0nogo -- Must have been because of the 10 years during which they've done nothing[2017-8-10. : 6:39 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- But I optimized the performance a bit for the symmetric terrain feature, since when I did 1000-fold symmetry it started slowing down[2017-8-10. : 6:38 pm] Pr0nogo -- Hm, I hadn't considered that they'd change anything with regards to 1.16.1[2017-8-10. : 6:37 pm] Neiv -- Pr0nogoPr0nogo shouted: Suicidal Insanity you have more faith in them than I do you have more faith in them that I do if you think that ratting on any modding stuff to blizz could lead to something positive[2017-8-10. : 6:32 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- I wouldn't be surprised if mine still has an ecx var somewhere[2017-8-10. : 6:32 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- I had actually redone my tileset code back when you started chkdraft with the thought of sharing it, but never managed to find the time to go through the mess that was the isom code And I thought you decided against doing that since you never hit me up on steam again[2017-8-10. : 6:31 pm] Pr0nogo -- Suicidal InsanitySuicidal Insanity shouted: gg @ pronogo, I'm pretty sure the SC devs are able to do what that plugin did without that code you have more faith in them than I do[2017-8-10. : 6:29 pm] jjf28 -- Suicidal InsanitySuicidal Insanity shouted: jjf28 Any idea why that exists? Were they autogenerating maps or something? dunno[2017-8-10. : 6:28 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- jjf28jjf28 shouted: FaRTy1billion haven't started, though there was one decompile (with notes in what looked like chinese) available Any idea why that exists? I guess the fact that it was almost identical to the vanilla editor made it more familiar to use, and also more stable than the most prevalent versions of SCMD2 that were used at the time. Even the lack of keyboard shortcuts for the "move up/down" and etc. commands made SCXE more enjoyable to use for me, mainly using SCMD2 only for the things that SCXE couldn't do. Eventually I got tired of switching between both editors and got used to SCMD2, but I was hard-pressed to convince some of my X-tra-using friends to follow in my footsteps. Wonder if anyone mentioned those keyboard commands back when I was actively working on it, probably would have been easy to add[2017-8-10. : 6:25 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- gg @ pronogo, I'm pretty sure the SC devs are able to do what that plugin did without that code[2017-8-10. : 5:40 pm] Pr0nogo -- ya but you also were a stupid mongoloid on national television, which makes you mad AF LMAO[2017-8-10. : 5:27 pm] Pr0nogo -- Dem0nDem0n shouted: The vanilla UI is fucking horrific and anyone who prefers SCXE because of it is a fucking idiot TBH mad[2017-8-10. : 5:23 pm] Dem0n -- The vanilla UI is fucking horrific and anyone who prefers SCXE because of it is a fucking idiot TBH[2017-8-10. : 5:02 pm] DarkenedFantasies -- Suicidal InsanitySuicidal Insanity shouted: I'm obviously biased but I also never understand the appeal of SCXE after scmdraft had isom + classic trigedit According to some of my map-making friends and myself, the main appeal for SCXE was its UI. Terrain / triggers were the biggest reasons to use anything else. Once SCMDraft had that ,well, it had everything.. and more[2017-8-10. : 1:21 pm] RexyRex -- I remember following the development of StarForge really closely when I was .. 11? I'd check teamse every day. Exciting times.[2017-8-10. : 1:21 pm] RexyRex -- I think it's wise not to say anything, but yeah, the comment was funny because it's ignorant, and typical of someone who doesn't really know the editors and their differences too well. ....that's my opinion ![]() [2017-8-10. : 1:14 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- I'm obviously biased but I also never understand the appeal of SCXE after scmdraft had isom + classic trigedit[2017-8-10. : 1:10 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- People always seem to forget that starforge came out much later than scmdraft 1.[2017-8-10. : 1:06 pm] Suicidal Insanity -- Ya I thought about pointing out the fact that scmdraft could do it just as well for the last 15 years, but may be misinterpreted as being too defensive[2017-8-10. : 11:45 am] Suicidal Insanity -- I probably should have added 'feedback request' to the thread title though ;( Ah well. At least I didn't use 'creating more units since 2003' since I don't know how the devs feel about all the threads on that topic ![]() [2017-8-10. : 11:17 am] Oh_Man -- https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20758126392 very nnice[2017-8-10. : 10:58 am] jjf28 -- Suicidal InsanitySuicidal Insanity shouted: Mini Moose 2707 https://software.intel.com/en-us/mkl-developer-reference-c-cblas-syr2k#D2A17C66-4265-4C56-84B9-2817DED7EE29 https://youtu.be/dIer2G9We_A[2017-8-10. : 9:41 am] Suicidal Insanity -- Mini Moose 2707Mini Moose 2707 shouted: When the parameters for every function only ever have one letter names, run LMAO https://software.intel.com/en-us/mkl-developer-reference-c-cblas-syr2k#D2A17C66-4265-4C56-84B9-2817DED7EE29[2017-8-10. : 9:37 am] Moose -- When the parameters for every function only ever have one letter names, run LMAO[2017-8-10. : 3:38 am] RexyRex -- CorboCorbo shouted: Is pastebin broken? firefox yells at me something about a script that makes it crash, I do not have chrome atm and edge fails too. https://pastebin.com/j3UXwWhF[2017-8-10. : 3:37 am] Corbo -- Is pastebin broken? firefox yells at me something about a script that makes it crash, I do not have chrome atm and edge fails too.[2017-8-10. : 3:35 am] RexyRex -- The answer: run LegacyWeapon's tool from ten years ago .... jeeez some things never change http://i.imgur.com/AKxen4y.png[2017-8-10. : 3:24 am] Corbo -- laptop died last year, remember, lost a lot of stuff in there.
