The mission briefings are like one line from the Overmind each. I heard that criticism a few times but I honestly disagree with that to be a bad thing. It would be very annoying and exhausting to try to move the shuttle. If you really wanted you could use multiple location and have it detect when it leaves one location, but still inside the other, bigger location. To then move unit back to location you just left.
