[2014-8-26. : 8:34 pm] lil-Inferno -- I think I still have the world map image from the RPG I was working on like two years ago. [2014-8-26. : 8:34 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- You can't see it in the screenshot, but this is fully animated. [2014-8-26. : 8:33 pm] BloodyZombie117 -- Speaking of great RPGs... Epic Battle Fantasy 4. That's an amazing J-RPG made in America. [2014-8-26. : 8:32 pm] lil-Inferno -- This exists and can be used for that purpose: http://paletton.com/ [2014-8-26. : 8:31 pm] lil-Inferno -- All you really need to research then is what colors go well with others. [2014-8-26. : 8:31 pm] lil-Inferno -- Since you're doing apps, Pie, just find free icons and have all of your stuff like buttons be solid, rectangular colors. It's hard to make that look bad. [2014-8-26. : 8:31 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- oh I wanted to do that with a kid in highschool. he was super good at the art and stuff, and I could program .. but after highschool I never saw or heard from him and tried emailing him a few times and got no answer [2014-8-26. : 8:30 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- which is why all the stuff I ever finish (or mostly finish) are like TinyMap, SEN's map parser, and things like that. [2014-8-26. : 8:30 pm] lil-Inferno -- Do you have the willpower and ability to finish an RPG to the quality and scale of an old-school, SNES-era Final Fantasy? [2014-8-26. : 8:30 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- my strengths include .. uh, reading and handling data files. [2014-8-26. : 8:29 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I've touched C#, I can't really art, and I work free for some things. [2014-8-26. : 8:28 pm] lil-Inferno -- Can you program in C#, can you do art, and most importantly are you willing to work for free, Farty? [2014-8-26. : 8:27 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- If I could code at my job that'd be even better than it already is. The most I can do is like research and read about stuff, and write stuff in my notebook [2014-8-26. : 8:26 pm] lil-Inferno -- Isn't that a bit obvious, Nude? Obviously someone who can afford to pay other people has money. [2014-8-26. : 8:25 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I think it's because now it doesn't use your local time [2014-8-26. : 8:25 pm] NudeRaider -- strangely enough people with the job always have money problems. It's the people giving jobs that get the big bucks (sometimes) [2014-8-26. : 8:23 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- "Jack[RCDF -- all guys everywhere, except farty" I was about to say I have hair and a job [2014-8-26. : 8:22 pm] Generalpie -- I would call it "Indie" but the landscape isn't looking good there right now [2014-8-26. : 8:22 pm] Fire_Kame -- "Jack[RCDF -- you guys need to get a haircut and a job" s-s-shut up [2014-8-26. : 8:22 pm] Fire_Kame -- ":DevliN: -- It's the comeback of v4. We're going back to IPB" SEN Retro [2014-8-26. : 8:20 pm] BloodyZombie117 -- At first I only had my 1TB. Then added my 3TB just for games since my space was almost gone. Then I got an SSD because of the start-time for it. [2014-8-26. : 8:20 pm] Generalpie -- I partitioned the newer one so I can RAID 0 it for the OS, then the rest for games I like, then just have the 500GB one, with a 4TB one [2014-8-26. : 8:19 pm] BloodyZombie117 -- Which guys? I'm clean shaven and I have a job... Just no money. [2014-8-26. : 8:17 pm] BloodyZombie117 -- I went cheaper (Due to lack of funds) and got a 120gb SSD. I still have my main 1TB HDD for my old Windows 7, incase shit happens, and I have a 3TB that's half filled with Steam games. [2014-8-26. : 8:16 pm] Generalpie -- Because I went the cheapo route and only got a 256 gb one, I got myself a 4TB HDD just in case  [2014-8-26. : 8:14 pm] BloodyZombie117 -- I feel ya Generalpie. I never want to live without my SSD ever again. |
