Moose -- ◉‿◉
[2014-9-28. : 11:46 pm]
jjf28 -- hmm.. prolly a write-on-create set i can hijack somewhere...
[2014-9-28. : 11:29 pm]
jjf28 -- :kame:
[2014-9-28. : 11:28 pm]
Dem0n -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: bare equations are at bottom of first post: http://www.staredit.net/topic/16553/ Dem0n yea it's not meeting any end besides setting up dEUPs so it would have no consequence for you unless you understand them
No it's like literally alien characters
[2014-9-28. : 11:22 pm]
jjf28 -- "Post the map!!" sorry, thought i did!
[2014-9-28. : 11:08 pm]
jjf28 -- lol i'm so bad with modding rules, tried changing a cannons attack to a psionic storm/probes particle beam but apparently that's asking for crashes
[2014-9-28. : 11:03 pm]
Moose -- Though, actually, different players would need different units to come out of their individual buildings as they tech at different rates, so IDK if that would work, really
[2014-9-28. : 11:02 pm]
jjf28 -- supply costs, pretty sure I can do that :)
[2014-9-28. : 11:02 pm]
jjf28 -- you'd have to get me an address
[2014-9-28. : 11:02 pm]
jjf28 -- hmm, I don't know exactly where "what unit comes out of a barracks" is stored
[2014-9-28. : 11:01 pm]
Moose -- How about those particular things, oh and getting rid of supply costs and/or maxes :P
[2014-9-28. : 11:01 pm]
jjf28 -- you can use them to do lots of modding things :)
[2014-9-28. : 10:59 pm]
Moose -- Because I can make like, teh best civ map ever and people can use rally points and be like wow teching doesn't mess these up because things get replaced
[2014-9-28. : 10:59 pm]
Moose -- Can I use them to do all the fancy modding things I would want to like make the units built from a Barracks change in a civ map :O
[2014-9-28. : 10:53 pm]
jjf28 -- darn that one takes work...
[2014-9-28. : 10:39 pm]
jjf28 -- oh duh, super fast dragoon attack!
[2014-9-28. : 10:38 pm]
jjf28 -- what next...
[2014-9-28. : 10:38 pm]
jjf28 -- well that's done till the questions start: http://www.staredit.net/355829/

jjf28 -- bare equations are at bottom of first post: http://www.staredit.net/topic/16553/ Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: I see it as gibberish.
yea it's not meeting any end besides setting up dEUPs so it would have no consequence for you unless you understand them
[2014-9-28. : 10:14 pm]
Moose -- You think I'm smart enough to save as? Guess again!
[2014-9-28. : 10:14 pm]
Moose -- Nice headers, nub
[2014-9-28. : 10:13 pm]
Dem0n -- I see it as gibberish.
[2014-9-28. : 10:03 pm]
jjf28 -- here's my new template map for dEUPs: http://puu.sh/bRPvJ/56a78d7d3e.scx , imma make some stuff with it to create hype before writing up the tutorial post for it :P but feel free to play around if you're comfortable with the bare equations
[2014-9-28. : 9:51 pm]
Moose -- Let's check his credit score
[2014-9-28. : 9:50 pm]
jjf28 -- sounds like a risky investment
[2014-9-28. : 9:49 pm]
Dem0n -- I have my ways
[2014-9-28. : 9:48 pm]
Moose -- The boxes are dead
[2014-9-28. : 9:48 pm]
Moose -- How you gonna make 575 minerals
[2014-9-28. : 9:42 pm]
Dem0n -- i'll hit you up with that 15% interest
[2014-9-28. : 9:42 pm]
Dem0n -- moose lemme borrow 500 minerals
[2014-9-28. : 9:36 pm]
Moose -- Oh yeah, it's not Saturday lololol
[2014-9-28. : 9:27 pm]
Jack -- Moose get your i++ on bruh
[2014-9-28. : 8:34 pm]
Moose -- :lock:
[2014-9-28. : 8:08 pm]
Zoan -- Ah, thanks :) fxed
[2014-9-28. : 8:07 pm]
Moose -- :wob:
[2014-9-28. : 6:46 pm]
jjf28 -- http://youtu.be/uv29l-TH9Po
[2014-9-28. : 6:44 pm]
NudeRaider -- there's a typo in the OP: The map is 192x192, not 196x196
[2014-9-28. : 6:26 pm]
Zoan -- leave*
[2014-9-28. : 6:26 pm]
Zoan -- I'll leaves the links up anyway, just in case
[2014-9-28. : 6:26 pm]
Zoan -- I edited it to include links for the screenshots, and now they just appear like they should
[2014-9-28. : 6:22 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- If I quote you and preview the images show up. May just need to force a bbcode update. Try editing your post to get it to process the bbcode again?
[2014-9-28. : 6:21 pm]
jjf28 -- o, then new pictures are also tragically broken :O
[2014-9-28. : 6:20 pm]
Zoan -- I mean, I made the thread in sen v6 :/
[2014-9-28. : 6:20 pm]
Zoan -- But this isn't an old picture! :O
[2014-9-28. : 6:19 pm]
jjf28 -- nope, old pictures are tragically broken atm
[2014-9-28. : 6:18 pm]
Zoan -- I'm on a mac :/
[2014-9-28. : 6:18 pm]
Zoan -- http://www.staredit.net/topic/16533/ is anyone else not seeing the screenshots there? :O
[2014-9-28. : 6:16 pm]
jjf28 -- It would be like standing outside with the sun shining on your face. It would also set your hair on fire, so don't actually do it.
[2014-9-28. : 5:35 pm]
KrayZee -- :wob:
[2014-9-28. : 5:31 pm]
Moose -- Row reduction IS a series of matrix multiplications
[2014-9-28. : 5:31 pm]
Moose -- Gauss-Jordan elimination IS finding the inverse in steps.
[2014-9-28. : 5:28 pm]
MasterJohnny -- so doing Gauss elimination is better doing multiply inverse?
[2014-9-28. : 5:26 pm]
Moose -- can be* written
[2014-9-28. : 5:26 pm]
Moose -- This is because Gauss Jordan elimination can written as a series of matrix multiplications, that when done together, give you the inverse.
[2014-9-28. : 5:24 pm]
MasterJohnny -- maybe they are the same speed...
[2014-9-28. : 5:21 pm]
MasterJohnny -- which is faster getting inverse of A^k and multiplying b or getting A^k and doing gauss elimination
[2014-9-28. : 5:20 pm]
Moose -- Compute A^k, then inverse of A^k, then win
[2014-9-28. : 5:19 pm]
MasterJohnny -- man I have to write matlab psuedocode for this problem and I still have no idea what im doing
[2014-9-28. : 5:09 pm]
Moose -- There, now I'm not sounding like a scrub
[2014-9-28. : 5:09 pm]
Moose -- Er, the original matrix might have eigenvalue(s) OF zero, which would make the diagonal matrix singular :P
[2014-9-28. : 5:08 pm]
Moose -- diagonal matrix*
[2014-9-28. : 5:08 pm]
Moose -- The diagonal might have zero eigenvalues, which would be a problem for invertibility
[2014-9-28. : 5:06 pm]
Moose -- I stand corrected
[2014-9-28. : 5:01 pm]
trgk -- det = 32
[2014-9-28. : 5:00 pm]
trgk -- Invertible matrixes may not be diagonalizable;
[2014-9-28. : 5:00 pm]
MasterJohnny -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: That has a link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coppersmith%E2%80%93Winograd_algorithm which is faster. That article mentions something faster developed in 2010.
The problem is this wikipedia page doesnt tell me what the coppersmith winograd algorithm actually is
[2014-9-28. : 5:00 pm]
Moose -- Note, it doesn't work the other way around
[2014-9-28. : 5:00 pm]
jjf28 -- :P
