Since this has been a long-time favorite hobby of mine, I'd like to continue doing it (although with less frequency) in hope of amending its broken reputation, if even just a little bit.
I'd argue there's no "bad" mapper, as in detrimental to the scene. On the contrary. Sc has flourished because everyone had a chance to quickly realize their ideas and subject them to a large audience. It didn't have to be a polished map if the concept was solid. Upon positive feedback the mapper would have improved their map or someone more skilled would pick up the concept and make a more polished map. In short, diversity is never bad. It would only be bad if there were ONLY bad maps out there but that was never the case.

u can't expect the average gamer to give feedback. How many games do u leave steam reviews on? My map has 1.5k downloads, but only a handful of comments in the thread, though one guy gave me 80 bucks (legend) and 2 or 3 youtube lets plays
