But at the very least it would be a sign that the American people are willing to undergo that change and other candidates would have the balls to represent his ideals. Also, yes, a lot of Bernie's ideas as written would have trouble passing Congress and making it into laws. Some people say this is a reason not to elect him, but while he is an idealist he is capable of compromise. You can look at his voting record and cooperation across party lines (ex working with Sen.
