dumbducky -- I gotta build one and test it and shit and I just don't feel like it
[2016-3-17. : 3:47 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- why?
[2016-3-17. : 3:46 am]
dumbducky -- fuck neural nets
[2016-3-17. : 2:52 am]
dumbducky -- I don't know how recently, I stopped playing around 2011
[2016-3-17. : 2:51 am]
dumbducky -- Yeah but I've been on NAT for a long time and SC worked up until recently
[2016-3-17. : 2:50 am]
jjf28 -- dumbducky
dumbducky shouted: Why did UDP stop working?
think it's something like: it needs a session, SC doesn't initiate one properly in the post NAT age; crapfest
[2016-3-17. : 2:42 am]
dumbducky -- Why did UDP stop working?
[2016-3-17. : 2:34 am]
Moose -- Yeah, improved netcode would be fantastic
[2016-3-17. : 2:30 am]
jjf28 -- Excalibur
Excalibur shouted: Windows 7/8/10 support, mostly for install/color fixes, possible resolution adaptations, and whatever else they decide to throw in.
rewrite UDP fuctions to send through TCP plox
[2016-3-17. : 2:26 am]
jjf28 -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: the patch just deletes starcraft.exe and replaces it with a link to starcraft II download page
rektaf

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- the patch just deletes starcraft.exe and replaces it with a link to starcraft II download page
[2016-3-17. : 2:19 am]
Moose -- My ideal situation is probably whatever patch comes out, iCCup just updates all their shit and we go back to business as usual, perhaps with a temporarily revived playerbase.
[2016-3-17. : 2:18 am]
Excalibur -- Windows 7/8/10 support, mostly for install/color fixes, possible resolution adaptations, and whatever else they decide to throw in.

Moose -- Excalibur
Excalibur shouted: We have survived entire waves of patches specifically to spite discoveries, we have endured patches that broke plethoras of maps, and changed much of the bends we use to exploit SC to its limits. This patch is not some doom sentence, it is perhaps the opposite. If we embrace it and if we work to incorporate anyone it draws to SC through its fixes and features we will be the better for it.
Excalibur
Excalibur shouted: If our own tool makers here work with us there is no way this becomes a net loss.
Oh, I hope you didn't think I was suggesting to avoid the patch completely. That would be pretty silly given we have no idea what would even be in this hypothetical patch.
[2016-3-17. : 2:15 am]
jjf28 -- >two years worth of overflows
[2016-3-17. : 2:15 am]
jjf28 -- better give us damn extra low lat
[2016-3-17. : 2:14 am]

Excalibur -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Excalibur Also, this assumes those authors haven't moved on precisely because their shit works and they don't need to update it.
Perma, Zynastor, AgentGOD, and most of the others have already said YEARS ago that they are completely done. They have no intention to return because they either make for other games or have other interests. I have moved in many circles on many sites, and I've seen few SENners in the places I've gone. Unless others have been witness to the happenings at BWHacks, GameThreat, UnknownCheats, or XGhost, and have contradicting reports, I claim this to be the case.
[2016-3-17. : 2:10 am]
jjf28 -- lets collect big data on players then get all the hackers banned ourselves :wob:
[2016-3-17. : 2:09 am]
jjf28 -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: Unless they really want the TinyMap2 source code
you have key reading code somewhere,.. + a copy of my executable map :P
[2016-3-17. : 2:03 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- dunno. And I doubt it's the party van. What else could it be?
[2016-3-17. : 2:02 am]
Moose -- Like they would need to send a car to your house to get that shit, and would leave the car running while they worked, LMAO
[2016-3-17. : 1:59 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- except I was planning on eventually cleaning that up and posting it online anyway
[2016-3-17. : 1:59 am]
Moose -- Excalibur
Excalibur shouted: Most hack authors have moved on. A new patch will give us at least 6 months of hack-free play assuming anyone fills the void with any haste. We could see over a year without drops and lobby exploits.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Unless they really want the TinyMap2 source code
[2016-3-17. : 1:58 am]
jjf28 -- maybe they cracked your wifi
[2016-3-17. : 1:57 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: are you valuable enough to surveill?
I dunno, proably not

Excalibur
Excalibur shouted: I think that's worth it.
On we can keep playing on iCCup now and be fine without Blizzard's help. XDDDDD
[2016-3-17. : 1:57 am]
jjf28 -- Roy
Roy shouted: Well maybe they should make a pull request.
:roy:

jjf28 -- are you valuable enough to surveill?
[2016-3-17. : 1:56 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Why is there a running car parked across the street from my house with people in it? Am I being watched?
[2016-3-17. : 1:54 am]
Excalibur -- I think that's worth it.

[2016-3-17. : 1:43 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- lol it was my SENniversary like 4 days ago and I forgot all about it
[2016-3-17. : 1:26 am]
Roy -- Well maybe they should make a pull request.
[2016-3-17. : 1:08 am]
Moose -- I mean, given iCCup has actual antihack capabilities and the public gateways are running rampant with bullshit, Blizzard has already dropped the ball on that.
[2016-3-17. : 1:05 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I think jjf mentioned it first a few days ago
[2016-3-17. : 1:05 am]
Voyager7456 -- The idea of Blizzard spite-switching compilers is pretty funny though
[2016-3-17. : 1:00 am]
Voyager7456 -- But then when I play the one game of SC I play in a year, I have to install a private server too? That's too much man
[2016-3-17. : 12:57 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- or, because people just use private servers anyway, we can just disregard the patch entirely
[2016-3-17. : 12:48 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Voyager7456
Voyager7456 shouted: Excalibur boooo I don't want to have to find more goddamn offsets
We already have soooo many offsets for 1.16.1 ;o Though unless they completely overhaul everything / use a totally different compiler that totally rearranges memory, it shouldn't be too bad
[2016-3-17. : 12:46 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- :wob:
[2016-3-17. : 12:33 am]

Dem0n -- Ex is the biggest thief of all. Stole a hundred hours of our time making us play RoE LMAO
[2016-3-16. : 11:11 pm]
Excalibur -- Moose. Ferno. Dem0n. All thieves. They'll bend the knee or I'll destroy them.
[2016-3-16. : 11:11 pm]
Moose -- And hey, that 54.2% actually proposed rate for people with over $10 million income could be any of us someday. Better stifle it just in case, right?
[2016-3-16. : 11:08 pm]
Moose -- Pretty much. Why go through the trouble of reading his tax plan and rationally considering it? They wouldn't be crying about proposed 90% tax rates if they weren't actually proposed, right? Right ??
[2016-3-16. : 11:08 pm]
NudeRaider -- *one
[2016-3-16. : 11:08 pm]
NudeRaider -- (but yeah, you're right that's on of the problems)
[2016-3-16. : 11:07 pm]
lil-Inferno -- MFW the election is gonna be Clinton vs. Trump 😄🔫
[2016-3-16. : 11:07 pm]
NudeRaider -- wrong. people obviously do not think. people just believe some insane doctrine they get where the hell ever from.
[2016-3-16. : 11:06 pm]
Dem0n -- People think he's trying to pull money out of nowhere, and then when you tell them how taxes work, they act like he's going to increase taxes by 80% and freak out.
[2016-3-16. : 11:05 pm]
NudeRaider -- it's to the point that it makes me angry at my fellow human beings.
[2016-3-16. : 11:05 pm]
NudeRaider -- I can't fathom the amount of ignorance needed not to vote sanders. but it's trumped by the amount of ignorance necessary to vote for Trump.
