[2016-4-18. : 1:01 pm]
Corbo -- You are next.
[2016-4-18. : 12:48 pm]
Wing Zero -- Corbo worst Mayor NA
[2016-4-18. : 11:02 am]
Excalibur -- "The truth is…you're the weak, and I am the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."
[2016-4-18. : 10:27 am]
Moose -- A meal fit for a family man.
[2016-4-18. : 10:14 am]
Roy -- Eggs and toast on a Monday morning.
[2016-4-18. : 7:55 am]
Clokr_ -- It makes no sense keeping the complicated structure now as there are no memory restrictions anymore. Just keep it simple. It will be much easier to do the assembly later.
[2016-4-18. : 7:51 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- anywy this way wait to tomorrow, I should've been asleep hours ago
[2016-4-18. : 7:50 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- because also then the plugin will know how to change it. I'm not actually reading the .dat files at all, I'm just telling SC to read them different
[2016-4-18. : 7:49 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I just figured I'd store like some config data in the same directory as the .dat files that described how they were changed
[2016-4-18. : 7:47 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- That sounds easy.
[2016-4-18. : 7:46 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- so when expanding, just make every unit have every field? :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:45 am]
Clokr_ -- I'd do it the following way: If the site is the usual one assume it is the usual one. If not, assume all fields have been extended to cover every unit entry, and divide by the size of such an entry. If you get an integer then load it that way. If not throw an exception or abort.
[2016-4-18. : 7:43 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- which is probably a good thing, except I have to be to work in 8 hours and should be asleep already :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:43 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- also the idea of making it public has made me go through and tidy it a bit and put comments on the stuff that's weird
[2016-4-18. : 7:39 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- all the other .dat files you can just take the size and figure out how many elements for each property there are supposed to be
[2016-4-18. : 7:38 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- except it doesn't do anything for units.dat because I have no idea how to handle that yet
[2016-4-18. : 7:38 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'll probably just rewrite the thing in C if there's any problem with it. I haven't tested it yet :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:36 am]
Clokr_ -- Although PROEdit was cool enough, even if made with the old VB :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:36 am]
Clokr_ -- Just trying to make the world a better place :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:35 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- and it was a very long time ago
[2016-4-18. : 7:35 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'm aware and have used C#, just not very much :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:30 am]
Clokr_ -- C# is VB with a C-like syntax. C++/CLI is the same but can be directly mixed with C++.
[2016-4-18. : 7:29 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Oh, also this doesn't have any sort of project file. It's just a cpp file that I've been compiling with a bat :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:26 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I could even copy+paste SC's loading tables
[2016-4-18. : 7:26 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I could probably just do it in C, and it'd probably be waaaay easier
[2016-4-18. : 7:26 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'd just do it in C, but making interfaces in C is dumb :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:26 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- probably, but I'm not familiar with C#
[2016-4-18. : 7:23 am]
Clokr_ -- Makes sense. Still C# looks a lot better than VB :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:17 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- so I can just say like images.dat is now 1500 entries, and then it adds the 501 additional ones
[2016-4-18. : 7:17 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- the thing in VB was just a quick program to modify the dats so I don't have to do it in a hex editor
[2016-4-18. : 7:13 am]
Clokr_ -- Oh, that's a relief
[2016-4-18. : 7:13 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- It's in C++
[2016-4-18. : 7:07 am]
Clokr_ -- Why VB instead of C# btw?
[2016-4-18. : 7:07 am]
Clokr_ -- All your code is always really messy! :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:06 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I guess I could. The code's really messy though :P
[2016-4-18. : 7:04 am]
Clokr_ -- Sounds fun actually, I might even join if you github it.
[2016-4-18. : 7:00 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'll test sprites and then I'll test images. Maybe by some miracle or whatever I'll have gotten all the images.dat references :P
[2016-4-18. : 6:59 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'll work on it tomorrow
[2016-4-18. : 6:54 am]
Clokr_ -- :C
[2016-4-18. : 6:44 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- too late :wob:
[2016-4-18. : 6:43 am]
Clokr_ -- You should finish it before you lose focus :P
[2016-4-18. : 6:36 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I also added, but haven't tested, sprites.dat
[2016-4-18. : 6:34 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I was working on images.dat, which is hard because there's a ton of extra arrays relating to it
[2016-4-18. : 6:34 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I didn't work more on that plugin today ;o
[2016-4-18. : 6:31 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- dunno, you're not missing too much :P
[2016-4-18. : 6:23 am]
Clokr_ -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: Mini Moose 2707 aw, I wanna play volcano run :(
Never played Volcano Run... Should I?
[2016-4-18. : 6:11 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Voyager7456 :O I didn't know such a thing existed
[2016-4-18. : 6:08 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Did we even talk shit today? We just asked you to play Volcano Run. :P
aw, I wanna play volcano run :(
[2016-4-18. : 6:01 am]
Wing Zero -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: (For those who didn't quite catch on, that was me gradually increasing the level of sarcasm to the point where it should have become obvious that I was doing it.)
:wob:
[2016-4-18. : 5:05 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- :wob:
[2016-4-18. : 3:57 am]
jjf28 -- https://youtu.be/FT4_Fefew78
[2016-4-18. : 1:08 am]
jjf28 -- Hauntzer oh man, I felt his pain
[2016-4-18. : 1:05 am]
Dem0n -- rofl
[2016-4-18. : 12:55 am]
Moose -- (For those who didn't quite catch on, that was me gradually increasing the level of sarcasm to the point where it should have become obvious that I was doing it.)
[2016-4-18. : 12:53 am]
lil-Inferno -- wut about me LMAO
[2016-4-18. : 12:38 am]
Moose -- In fact, I don't think anyone else here has ever used a meme independently.
[2016-4-18. : 12:36 am]
Moose -- It's true, I brought the first meme into the Network. It contaminated it and spread like wildfire.
[2016-4-18. : 12:35 am]
Alzarath -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: This is impossible, there is no logic on SEN. It has all been replaced by memes.
I get the feeling that's your fault, somehow.
[2016-4-18. : 12:23 am]
Moose -- This is impossible, there is no logic on SEN. It has all been replaced by memes.
[2016-4-18. : 12:22 am]
TiKels -- Hahananda
Hahananda shouted: I swear I learned photography graphic design coding and a good sense of humor from these folks right heeere
I definitely got a lot of coding logic experience
[2016-4-18. : 12:19 am]
Moose -- I didn't actually check the thread to see where the game was, but I did say if applicable.
[2016-4-18. : 12:18 am]
Voyager7456 -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Probably fulfilling his obligations to Dem0n's mafia.
Townspeople don't have night actions
[2016-4-18. : 12:18 am]
Moose -- It would be a shame if he were to miss a vote or night actions, if applicable.
[2016-4-18. : 12:18 am]
Moose -- Probably fulfilling his obligations to Dem0n's mafia.
[2016-4-18. : 12:18 am]
Voyager7456 -- Waiting for a table at the restaurant lmao
