[2016-4-24. : 10:43 am]
Lanthanide -- Kate on linux will do it fine though, that's what I use at work for this sort of thing
[2016-4-24. : 10:42 am]
Lanthanide -- I'm not sure if notepad++ can do it properly
[2016-4-24. : 10:42 am]
Lanthanide -- the hardest part of this may actually be finding tools that will let you do a find-and-replace regex on whitespace characters
[2016-4-24. : 10:42 am]
Lanthanide -- ah, ok
[2016-4-24. : 10:38 am]
NudeRaider -- k. I'm new to regex but I shall give it a try. Btw. I'm trying to get rid of the line feeds ( \r\n ) and replace them with <br> so the tag takes just 1 line, as it's supposed to.
[2016-4-24. : 10:32 am]
Lanthanide -- and some of them are wonky when it comes to handling actual new lines in the input
[2016-4-24. : 10:32 am]
Lanthanide -- note that not all editing tools can do find and replace with regex
[2016-4-24. : 10:31 am]
Lanthanide -- I don't know how you could do a variable number of <br>, which would result in a variable number of fragments that you want to keep
[2016-4-24. : 10:31 am]
Lanthanide -- in this case there are only two fragments so you only need \1\2
[2016-4-24. : 10:31 am]
Lanthanide -- trying to go much farther than that is probably not worth it, because the replace operation with regex is more limited than the search operation, since you have to specify each fragment to keep using numbers
[2016-4-24. : 10:30 am]
Lanthanide -- so if a particular tax set has 5 <br> then you would need to run it 5 times to remove them
[2016-4-24. : 10:30 am]
Lanthanide -- such a regex will be able to remove 1 <br> per set of tags
[2016-4-24. : 10:29 am]
Lanthanide -- and since you want to erase the text you'r looking for (<br>), your replace string would just be \1\2
[2016-4-24. : 10:29 am]
Lanthanide -- and then you need to surround the first tag and random text with sequence braces, and the last tag and random text with sequence braces
[2016-4-24. : 10:28 am]
Lanthanide -- so something like ^(first tag).*(match).*(end tag)$
[2016-4-24. : 10:28 am]
Lanthanide -- then it's a matter of finding the first tag, then random characters within which is an embedded match, followed by the closing tag
[2016-4-24. : 10:27 am]
Lanthanide -- build the regex up: first parse for the open tag, then parse for the close tag, then put them together and parse for the tag with any random text inside using .*
[2016-4-24. : 10:25 am]
Lanthanide -- yes
[2016-4-24. : 10:10 am]
NudeRaider -- is it possible with regex to find start and end of the tag and replace stuff inside?
[2016-4-24. : 10:09 am]
NudeRaider -- hm... looking for a program that identifies a tag ( <p id="toptext"></p> ) and lets me do a search and replace only inside this tag. Problem: The contents of the tag are likely to be spread among multiple lines--which is exactly what I wanna remedy: Replace line feeds with <br>
[2016-4-24. : 8:38 am]
NudeRaider -- Roy
Roy shouted: Are you trying to direct link those? Because Snaggy recently changed it so you can't direct link anymore.
I mean hotlinking is a kind of dickish move, so I understand why they're doing it. And since their image viewer is pretty useful I'm totally okay with them doing it and not hotlinking anymore
[2016-4-24. : 8:32 am]
NudeRaider -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: why are you still up?
we should ask YOU this
[2016-4-24. : 8:32 am]
NudeRaider -- Corbo going down?
[2016-4-24. : 8:23 am]
Clokr_ -- am I late???
[2016-4-24. : 8:23 am]
Clokr_ -- :kame:
[2016-4-24. : 8:02 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- why are you still up?
[2016-4-24. : 8:02 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- :kame:
[2016-4-24. : 8:01 am]
Fire_Kame -- :kame:
[2016-4-24. : 7:33 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I haven't done any extensive testing, just that the game runs, shows images, and shows the extended IDs
[2016-4-24. : 7:32 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- it was actually easier than I was expecting. :P There was a bug in my code that made it not replace all of the addresses, one address had the wrong opcode size (+3 instead of +1) so it was causing an access violation, but in doing so it showed me a constant value I had missed.
[2016-4-24. : 7:21 am]
Clokr_ -- yay!
[2016-4-24. : 6:24 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I got flingy, sprites and images. Which dat should I do next? :wob: How useful are weapons, techs, or upgrades (the latter two might need some .dat requirement edits in fg?
[2016-4-24. : 6:21 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I know. ;o I was trying anyway. It doesn't really matter
[2016-4-24. : 5:56 am]
Roy -- Are you trying to direct link those? Because Snaggy recently changed it so you can't direct link anymore.
[2016-4-24. : 5:51 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- https://i.snag.gy/sgoWiS.jpg images.dat successfully expanded. ^^
[2016-4-24. : 5:42 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- https://i.snag.gy/olan0b.jpg this marine has a flingy ID of 209, which has a sprite ID of 517, which has an image ID of 999 though. So that's cool.
[2016-4-24. : 5:36 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- https://i.snag.gy/Ay2ekU.jpg I didn't break anything. Nope, sure didn't. Nothing at all.
[2016-4-24. : 4:53 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I've played with you guys, everyone just always does it when I'm not home or otherwise doing something else
[2016-4-24. : 4:53 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- That could be true, even if I did play it :P
[2016-4-24. : 4:52 am]
Moose -- Yeah, you don't have SC installed :P
[2016-4-24. : 4:52 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- No I didn't, that's a lie
[2016-4-24. : 4:52 am]
Moose -- Let it be known that tonight :farty: played SCBW with us!
[2016-4-24. : 3:57 am]
Fire_Kame --
[2016-4-24. : 3:52 am]
Lanthanide -- you've met a "village-worth of gays"
[2016-4-24. : 3:52 am]
Lanthanide -- Kame, the correct collective noun for gays is a village
[2016-4-24. : 3:39 am]
Fire_Kame -- I'll have you know I've met tens of gays
[2016-4-24. : 3:39 am]
Fire_Kame -- always?
[2016-4-24. : 3:29 am]
KrayZee -- Not homophobic at all, we're all women.
[2016-4-24. : 3:12 am]
Wing Zero -- I... What?
[2016-4-24. : 2:28 am]
Dem0n -- Always with the homophobic remarks, Kame...
[2016-4-24. : 2:27 am]
Fire_Kame -- A very round about way to come out of the closet, but we respect your decision nonetheless
[2016-4-24. : 2:02 am]
Dem0n -- My husband has been captured by the humans and other sources of rebelions. please let your son or daughter retrieved back the three crystals to release my husband. You are the father of the dragon babies. They are your Precious treasures and you must protect them no matter what happends even if it means sacrificing your own life. I have blessed your nest with healing powers. Your wife have already lay the eggs. Protect them at all cost and wait for a month before they hatched. Go now and free my husband out.Brave Warrior.
[2016-4-24. : 1:52 am]
Dem0n -- He's a raper
[2016-4-24. : 1:52 am]
Fire_Kame -- It it's fine. I didn't want to see him anyway. Idiot.
[2016-4-24. : 1:51 am]
Roy -- At least, I think I am...
[2016-4-24. : 1:51 am]
Roy -- I'm still here, though, and I'm a pretty cool dude.
[2016-4-24. : 1:50 am]
Roy -- Yeah.
[2016-4-24. : 1:49 am]
Fire_Kame -- D-did I miss will-senpai?
[2016-4-24. : 1:36 am]
KrayZee -- That was suppose to be Beyond Good and Evil 2
[2016-4-24. : 1:36 am]
KrayZee -- I remember Beyond Good and Evil, and there was suppose to be a sequel but who knows what happened. There is a video of Pey'j sleeping, collecting flies through his nose.
[2016-4-24. : 1:35 am]
BeatMeistro -- I just hope SSBWiiU improve in their modding scene so i could try and recreate the karate chopper as a custom move for Ryu.
[2016-4-24. : 1:34 am]
KrayZee -- The new Lara Croft is definitely meant to be a survivor, and she's in her early 20s.
[2016-4-24. : 1:34 am]
BeatMeistro -- But at the same time, it's kinda awesome if Ryu did hadoukens in that bad boy.
[2016-4-24. : 1:34 am]
KrayZee -- CaptainWill
CaptainWill shouted: I think they've tried to rehabilitate Lara Croft so she's not just a tank top, two guns and a rack. But... how about Life is Strange?
I love Life Is Strange.
[2016-4-24. : 1:33 am]
BeatMeistro -- I Mean,Look at this boxart. It's ridiculous. http://www.yojoe.com/archive/actfig/sf/karatechopper/box.jpg
[2016-4-24. : 1:30 am]
BeatMeistro -- They also included redecoed G.I Joe Vehicles too. I can see the karate chopper being a thing. Ryu shoulda used that.
[2016-4-24. : 1:29 am]
BeatMeistro -- Street Fighter also had a themed G.I Joe toyline too, no joke.
[2016-4-24. : 1:28 am]
BeatMeistro -- CaptainWill
CaptainWill shouted: Is that the one with Guile?
Yup, that one. The one that felt like a "G.I Joe" movie with Street Fighters.
[2016-4-24. : 1:27 am]
CaptainWill -- Is that the one with Guile?
[2016-4-24. : 1:21 am]
BeatMeistro -- I mean, that movie was bad in a good way.
