Writing that, I realize I was speaking of the wrong phenomenon here: NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Dem0n 5ms response time is more than enough even for serious fps gaming. A general word on IPS vs TN: The colors on IPS are more vivid, and accurate in most scenarios, but you pay that with a worse black. You often have noticeable backlight bleeding or clouding, especially when it's a cheap IPS. Bad blacks vs. washed out (bright) colors. As far as I'm aware both technologies are equally susceptible to clouding and backlight bleeding.
