[2016-8-26. : 9:57 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I remember trying it other ways and it would always put stuff on different lines
[2016-8-26. : 9:57 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I dunno, it's just how I've always done it because it always worked. ;o
[2016-8-26. : 9:56 pm]
Roy -- You don't even have to float both of them.
[2016-8-26. : 9:56 pm]
Roy -- Sure it does. They're floating, so why would they be on separate lines?
[2016-8-26. : 9:55 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- you could, but I don't think that puts them in the same line
[2016-8-26. : 9:55 pm]
Vrael -- shouldn't one be left and one be right
[2016-8-26. : 9:55 pm]
Vrael -- huh
[2016-8-26. : 9:54 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- so that they are in the same line
[2016-8-26. : 9:54 pm]
Vrael -- why are both .div1 and .div2 float left?
[2016-8-26. : 9:50 pm]
Vrael -- ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok
[2016-8-26. : 9:49 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- # is for IDs
[2016-8-26. : 9:49 pm]
Vrael -- I thought the # was for classes, not .
[2016-8-26. : 9:42 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- ya, we can't have people not taking us seriously
[2016-8-26. : 9:42 pm]
Roy -- And we can cite performance as the reason!
[2016-8-26. : 9:42 pm]
Moose -- Yeah, this way we can rebuild again after 5 years when there's a new hipster tech LMAO
[2016-8-26. : 9:41 pm]
Roy -- But think of the hipster potential.
[2016-8-26. : 9:40 pm]
Moose -- "RethinkDB can also be significantly slower than other NoSQL databases like MongoDB. But it provides a helpful web-based administrative user interface for managing the database. Some of its API syntax can result in code that is visually messy." smh
[2016-8-26. : 9:38 pm]
Moose -- Written in C++, JavaScript, Bash ... Operating system Unix, Linux, OS X, BSD ... already like RethinkDB
[2016-8-26. : 9:37 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I don't know what that is :wob:
[2016-8-26. : 9:37 pm]
Roy -- How do you feel about Horizon and RethinkDB?
[2016-8-26. : 9:31 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'm only good at small-time PHP stuff, like EUDDB or reading/processing GRP files
[2016-8-26. : 9:28 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Rusty, and not very proficient in the first place :P
[2016-8-26. : 9:27 pm]
Moose -- How do you feel about PHP and MySQL LMAO
[2016-8-26. : 9:26 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I can't
[2016-8-26. : 9:26 pm]
Moose -- I can think of some web things for you to do :farty:
[2016-8-26. : 9:25 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I should do more webstuff
[2016-8-26. : 9:25 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- CSS is fun :wob:
[2016-8-26. : 9:24 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I could have (and it would have been better to) call them something like .fixed and .fill
[2016-8-26. : 9:23 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- . is a class, instead of just going by tag name
[2016-8-26. : 9:23 pm]
Dem0n -- ya I didn't read up on any CSS for my job interview rofl
[2016-8-26. : 9:23 pm]
Dem0n -- o u rite
[2016-8-26. : 9:23 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- lol I put width: auto; on body, I meant to do height. Apparently setting the height of body to 100% isn't necessary anymore
[2016-8-26. : 9:23 pm]
Moose -- No, you should learn CSS if you want to know what that is
[2016-8-26. : 9:22 pm]
Dem0n -- I should learn more HTML
[2016-8-26. : 9:22 pm]
Dem0n -- the fuck is .div { } LMAO
[2016-8-26. : 9:21 pm]
Moose -- And you would be like "holy shit things that aren't fixed width are hard let me try to just guess percentages well it looks okay at some widths guess that's enough" and then you would bop yourself LMAO
[2016-8-26. : 9:21 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- ya, and you'd have to make like 4 layers of nested divs for some huge workaround
[2016-8-26. : 9:20 pm]
Moose -- Shit used to be imposs and frustrating as hell
[2016-8-26. : 9:20 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I found it probably with one of the same links you linked to. xD
[2016-8-26. : 9:19 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- You probably couldn't do it like 3 years ago
[2016-8-26. : 9:18 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- It's probably css 3 or something
[2016-8-26. : 9:18 pm]
Moose -- TIL calc is a thing for CSS, I wish I knew this a decade ago
[2016-8-26. : 9:17 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I was going to use auto width, but that makes it so you have to do dumb other shit to make it actually fill instead of just being as small as possible
[2016-8-26. : 9:17 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- oh, I did 100px. Whatever
[2016-8-26. : 9:17 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: ok how do I make an HTML doc with 2 div elements which display side by side, the right one is just static 300 pixels by 100% height and the left one is just whatever width is remaining by 100% height
ez af http://pastebin.com/UE3jH830
[2016-8-26. : 9:15 pm]
Dem0n -- XD
[2016-8-26. : 9:06 pm]
Vrael -- ok mister 'ez af LMAO'
[2016-8-26. : 9:04 pm]
Dem0n -- idk ask ROy
[2016-8-26. : 9:03 pm]
Vrael -- ok how do I make an HTML doc with 2 div elements which display side by side, the right one is just static 300 pixels by 100% height and the left one is just whatever width is remaining by 100% height
[2016-8-26. : 8:39 pm]
Dem0n -- but HTML and JS are ez af LMAO
[2016-8-26. : 8:38 pm]
Vrael -- lets just make a replacement for both in Python
[2016-8-26. : 8:38 pm]

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I should look in to a proper server ;o Bots are scanning EUDDB and killing my internet, but I don't want to put EUDDB on nobots
[2016-8-26. : 7:06 pm]
Moose -- Corbo
Corbo shouted: I will see to buy one today. Whats the process to preparing a fresh hd to use it? How do I install the OS, hell, moose, i will even humor you and tell you I eant it to be linux lmao
Yeah, there's no preparation, it's a data storage device. An OS installer should be able to detect it and partition as necessary, making the MBR if bootability is desired. Go into your BIOS to set as bootable at an appropriate priority if desired.
[2016-8-26. : 6:58 pm]
Moose -- So even less reason to attend!
[2016-8-26. : 6:58 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- that's not the whole class, there's just a bunch of stuff I've already learned on my own :P
[2016-8-26. : 6:01 pm]
NudeRaider -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: cool, in this math class I get to learn 3D coordinate systems, vectors, dot products and cross products
sounds like a class you don't need to attend if you have someone tell you what you need to know for the tests
[2016-8-26. : 5:16 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- this is going to be ez :wob:
[2016-8-26. : 5:16 pm]

Generalpie -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: Generalpie What makes a rig VR-ready, exactyl?

[2016-8-26. : 4:39 pm]
NudeRaider -- Corbo
Corbo shouted: NudeRaider already backed up. But its slow AF to work with it so its practically unusable and sometimes it does not finish loading up windows
Corbo
Corbo shouted: But do you think my symptoms are caused by a failing HD. The clicking makes it pretty obvious to me. But idk.
Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: sure
[2016-8-26. : 4:34 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- :wob:

[2016-8-26. : 2:22 pm]
Corbo -- But do you think my symptoms are caused by a failing HD. The clicking makes it pretty obvious to me. But idk.
