They would be like "what is POP3, this Pope, I don't get it" and "IMAP, they mean iMap, is this like apple mail" all day LMAO[2016-11-04. : 12:12 am] Fire_Kame -- Mini Moose 2707Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Wait, there are people who use Outlook when their school or job doesn't force it on them? I would literally burn the building down if I had to watch a bunch of moronic end users try to figure out anything but outlook[2016-11-04. : 12:08 am] Moose -- jjf28jjf28 shouted: Verizon blocks gmail and has us using outlook :'( Your ISP, or you work for Verizon?[2016-11-04. : 12:00 am] Vrael -- Mini Moose 2707Mini Moose 2707 shouted: rockz Wait, there are people on fucking Macs that use Outlook? Now this is just crazy, huh? This is just nuts... me[2016-11-03. : 9:26 pm] Moose -- rockzrockz shouted: Outlook is tedious. Outlook 2016 for mac is a downgrade from 2011. I can't run applescripts automatically to sort through my inbox now. I can't change the color of the font in the preview pane either. Wait, there are people on fucking Macs that use Outlook? It's all Microsoft's fault! Sue Bill Gates. Will take 2 years but the profits are better ![]() [2016-11-03. : 9:16 pm] Corbo -- Was like $15 bucks only or something but hey, that buys you a nice dinner and a six pack in here ![]() [2016-11-03. : 9:15 pm] Corbo -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: i trust you ended your membership? Yeah. I went to the ministry that regulates the banks in here and turns out my case was not the only one. And although they were actually allowed to do so, legally, they were forced to pay me what I had cancelled (because at the time I did have to cancel the debt) PLUS they had to cancel me the interest rate they were charing me to begin with ![]() [2016-11-03. : 9:12 pm] Corbo -- so the monthly reports say YOU HAVE ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS and i was like ok, that's what I should have. But they had created a loan for me to pay for their signature visa card or whatever which the subscription was like $500 yearly BUT that loan was also generating interest so GG me.[2016-11-03. : 9:11 pm] Corbo -- So that one credit wasn't seen on the usual report that I see only on my ebanking. Because I only check my accounts not my personal loans, because I have none.[2016-11-03. : 9:10 pm] NudeRaider -- so they made you an offer hidden amongst other stuff that you accepted without knowing?[2016-11-03. : 9:10 pm] Corbo -- They started charging me for a service I hadn't acquired. and they weren't charging my account, instead they had created a credit for me, like if I had requested them for money to pay for their service they were providing me without my acknowledgement.[2016-11-03. : 9:09 pm] Corbo -- Ok. They were hiding it in a bunch of other stuff in the monthly report in a way that one couldn't realise it was actually a credit.[2016-11-03. : 9:08 pm] NudeRaider -- I dont know how you qa can be so bad that programmatic rules fail without anyone noticing or fixing... ![]() [2016-11-03. : 9:08 pm] Corbo -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Corbo bad finance management imo. But yeah, the UI problems are annoying. And about the rules... mhhh I don't use it too much, maybe I should check every once in a while if they're still working properly. Not really. Banks was shadowing a credit I had not acquired. In the end they ended up compensating me. ![]() [2016-11-03. : 9:06 pm] NudeRaider -- CorboCorbo shouted: It wasn't until my bank called me that I had a debt that I realised to. That's right. A free webmail was actually costing me money. Sighs. bad finance management imo. But yeah, the UI problems are annoying. And about the rules... mhhh I don't use it too much, maybe I should check every once in a while if they're still working properly.[2016-11-03. : 9:06 pm] Corbo -- Also, my bank was also stupid that one time and was charging something I hadn't done. So there's that too.[2016-11-03. : 8:54 pm] Corbo -- It wasn't until my bank called me that I had a debt that I realised to. That's right. A free webmail was actually costing me money. Sighs.[2016-11-03. : 8:53 pm] Corbo -- also, about that rule thing. I just deleted them all. I took the liberty and time to create a whole set of nice rules and nice set of folders for those rules to do the action then at some point I discovered that it had started filtering my bank's reports to a folder I had designated specifically for me to not check it, like, ever...[2016-11-03. : 8:50 pm] Corbo -- with the newest outlook updates it just became completely useless. Sometimes it shows me a splash screen saying "select an email to read" instead of showing me my inbox, that or just shows it anyway even when I have an email selected...[2016-11-03. : 8:49 pm] Corbo -- and today particulary I spend a good 5 hours trying to uploada 6MB powerpoint file and it just randomly said "couldn't attach file try again later" at like 75% of uploading said file...[2016-11-03. : 8:48 pm] Corbo -- The fact that there's an attachment limit in plain 2016 is ridiculous too. One should be able to attach larger files, actually a 25mb limit on a single file is ok, but not 25mb total. Really, that's just like attaching 3 plans for me. I have to send like 3 mails and stand this process 3 times in order to send a project[2016-11-03. : 8:47 pm] Corbo -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Feature wise it's quite fantastic, but I admit the has become progressively worse as they incorporated more and more web-technologies which made the gui less responsive and functional. this exactly. now attaching is not a two step process but like a 7 step one, they are trying to force you down that onedrive crap so much... irresponsive, it takes time to load, I don't mean foever but just "time" when it really shouldn't. I don't fucking want to fucking automatically preview the files, that's why I have a computer, to actually view them. not in their crappy interface that just never loads up the files anyway...[2016-11-03. : 7:58 pm] NudeRaider -- rockzrockz shouted: I also can't run rules that are online only manually, and for whatever reason sometimes they get missed. Additionally the rule implementation sucks for online, which is usually what I use. I have a couple rules running. Who am I kidding, I still have respect for you, but WHY are you using a mac?[2016-11-03. : 6:47 pm] NudeRaider -- I wonder what the polls in the US of the following question would be like: "If you could swap out the candidate you're probably going to vote for / did vote, would you do so?"[2016-11-03. : 6:13 pm] NudeRaider -- k. time for shitty memes is over.
