[2017-1-19. : 6:14 pm]
Apos -- Starcraft Broodwar games where peer to peer right?
[2017-1-19. : 5:27 pm]
NudeRaider -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: NudeRaider it's difficult using electronic books at work
an ebook-reader is about the price of one ridiculoulsy priced textbook. also you could print them yourself and use 2 or 4 pages per page so one book should run you no more than $10 or $20 tops.
[2017-1-19. : 3:41 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: Went to sleep tired, wake up tired, go through the whole day tired, smh
FT is awesome :wob:
[2017-1-19. : 1:33 pm]
Corbo -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Ya, if you don't mind going back an edition or two to buy used, you can save a bunch of money. And sometimes they're on the eighth edition or some shit so you know all they did since the seventh was fix a typo or two you'd probably never find and jack the price back up. Or add a stupid CD.
some times they add new problems to solve or scramble them so the book looks different.
[2017-1-19. : 1:28 pm]
IskatuMesk -- it's good shit
[2017-1-19. : 1:28 pm]
IskatuMesk -- coffee helps me sleep
[2017-1-19. : 12:19 pm]
Sie_Sayoka -- drink coffee and pop pills
[2017-1-19. : 12:18 pm]
Moose -- Fix your shitty diet and sleep more.
[2017-1-19. : 12:16 pm]
Dem0n -- Went to sleep tired, wake up tired, go through the whole day tired, smh
[2017-1-19. : 12:16 pm]
Dem0n -- I'm tired AF LMAO
[2017-1-19. : 12:14 pm]
Moose -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: Ugh
You sound mad.
[2017-1-19. : 12:13 pm]
Dem0n -- Ugh
[2017-1-19. : 12:12 pm]
Sie_Sayoka -- or just go to the library and scan that shit
[2017-1-19. : 12:12 pm]
Moose -- Ya, if you don't mind going back an edition or two to buy used, you can save a bunch of money. And sometimes they're on the eighth edition or some shit so you know all they did since the seventh was fix a typo or two you'd probably never find and jack the price back up. Or add a stupid CD.
[2017-1-19. : 7:54 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- also after I bought it I found an earlier edition that was waaay cheaper :/
[2017-1-19. : 7:54 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Btw. Farty since you bought an expensive book a couple of days ago. If you ever have to do it again, maybe these can help: http://imgur.com/gallery/R1XDNLo http://imgur.com/gallery/OfY4C
it's difficult using electronic books at work
[2017-1-19. : 7:36 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- sure
[2017-1-19. : 7:35 am]
NudeRaider -- like that cat?
[2017-1-19. : 7:35 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- haw haw haw i got perfect stacking to work
[2017-1-19. : 7:26 am]
NudeRaider -- Btw. Farty since you bought an expensive book a couple of days ago. If you ever have to do it again, maybe these can help: http://imgur.com/gallery/R1XDNLo http://imgur.com/gallery/OfY4C
[2017-1-19. : 6:56 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- thanks i think the mineral trick works perfectly for me
[2017-1-19. : 6:51 am]
Lanthanide -- that thread has the details
[2017-1-19. : 6:49 am]
Lanthanide -- here's the other thread on it: http://www.staredit.net/topic/9955/
[2017-1-19. : 6:41 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- thanks ill try it out :)
[2017-1-19. : 6:41 am]
Lanthanide -- it's a combination of freshness and the map-wide algorithm
[2017-1-19. : 6:40 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- what makes it prefer that area over the area you want to make the permanent creep at?
[2017-1-19. : 6:38 am]
Lanthanide -- Lanthanide
Lanthanide shouted: so you need a hidden / scratchpad area of the map you can use for this
[2017-1-19. : 6:38 am]
NudeRaider -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: damn yo USB-C fast af O_O
to be a smartass, USB-C is a connector definition, so it has no speed associated with it. It depends on the controller behind it. If you connect it with USB 2.0 it will still be slow. But usually people connect it with USB 3.1 or sometimes 3.0. And yes, that's fast. ;)
[2017-1-19. : 6:38 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- hm so create>remove colonies every cycle should keep it going? but wouldnt that run into issues when a unit tries to walk where youre creating them?
[2017-1-19. : 6:37 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- only sprites use the images
[2017-1-19. : 6:36 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Sie_Sayoka not sure what exactly, but short answer: Everything. I'm assuming this includes terrain tiles, maybe even the menu parts. Everything that's a prerendered image.
tiles aren't, menu isn't
[2017-1-19. : 6:36 am]
Lanthanide -- so you need a hidden / scratchpad area of the map you can use for this
[2017-1-19. : 6:35 am]
Lanthanide -- then once it's gone, replace it with another building
[2017-1-19. : 6:35 am]
Lanthanide -- I think that's it - place one of the zerg buildings and remove it, and its creep will preferentially die off
[2017-1-19. : 6:35 am]
Lanthanide -- since hatcheries and creep colonies project creep
[2017-1-19. : 6:35 am]
Lanthanide -- or not a hatchery, one of the other normal zerg buildings and then removing it, so it leaves behind it's creep footprint
[2017-1-19. : 6:34 am]
Lanthanide -- by re-creating a hatchery over and over again
[2017-1-19. : 6:34 am]
Lanthanide -- so the way to ensure your plot of creep is permanent, is to create other sacrificial creep somewhere else on the map
[2017-1-19. : 6:34 am]
Lanthanide -- and it's like a map-wide creep destruction algorithm
[2017-1-19. : 6:33 am]
Lanthanide -- something like that
[2017-1-19. : 6:33 am]
NudeRaider -- Sie_Sayoka
Sie_Sayoka shouted: thanks also what is this image 5000 limit
not sure what exactly, but short answer: Everything. I'm assuming this includes terrain tiles, maybe even the menu parts. Everything that's a prerendered image.
[2017-1-19. : 6:33 am]
Lanthanide -- every cycle of creep death, which lasts some length of time, it will kill a spot of creep that has less than 4 neighboring tiles of creep, and then another with less than 3 neighboring tiles of creep
[2017-1-19. : 6:33 am]
Lanthanide -- I vaguely remember that the way the creep dies is sort of like the conway's game of life
[2017-1-19. : 6:32 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- so it just needs to be walkable that doesnt use null what method would be the best to use?
[2017-1-19. : 6:31 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- it doesnt need to be built on i just need it to stay there
[2017-1-19. : 6:31 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- i wanted to use some creep for the ground in a sewer blend
[2017-1-19. : 6:29 am]
Lanthanide -- I probably can't remember anything of help for you, but shoot
[2017-1-19. : 6:29 am]
Lanthanide -- a long time ago
[2017-1-19. : 6:29 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- lanthanide u did some testing with perma creep?
[2017-1-19. : 6:29 am]
Lanthanide -- and yes, they ramp the price up for everything because of the event
[2017-1-19. : 6:28 am]
Lanthanide -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: Lanthanide is everything so epensive because of the eclipse? all of this sounds so expensive xD
that's for a ready-pitched tent, sleeping bag and other stuff. just a camp site is $75, but I won't have a tent etc
[2017-1-19. : 6:23 am]
KrayZee -- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[2017-1-19. : 6:14 am]
KrayZee -- This new presidency, the entire cabinet will be like '\_(ツ)_/¯
[2017-1-19. : 6:00 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- and it would depend on what state the workers are in but i havent tested it
[2017-1-19. : 5:59 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- the addon will work by creating it with triggers
[2017-1-19. : 5:48 am]
Pr0nogo -- Does creating powerups on workers displace units?
[2017-1-19. : 5:28 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I know when you build an addon it will displace the units under it, but I dunno if creating them wtih triggers does that
[2017-1-19. : 5:12 am]
Sie_Sayoka -- yea i think machine shop has the same properties are powerups
[2017-1-19. : 4:51 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I've used that before to buffer cloaked units
[2017-1-19. : 4:51 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Sie_Sayoka
Sie_Sayoka shouted: he does something weird by using powerups to push the units 2 tiles away
powerups don't check collision when they are created, so they will displace units standing on them
[2017-1-19. : 4:50 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: hey sie do you know the building stack track? I've never tried with units but can't imagine why it wouldn't work
units do it different. buildings it's because it just flags the tile as occupied or open
[2017-1-19. : 4:49 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: units don't have sprites, units have flingys :P
no, units are flingies
[2017-1-19. : 4:48 am]
Pr0nogo -- it's cumming...
[2017-1-19. : 3:48 am]
LoveLess -- exPLOSION
[2017-1-19. : 3:35 am]
jjf28 -- https://youtu.be/ZiG78UZ5Mho
[2017-1-19. : 3:32 am]
Pr0nogo -- kisses
