I was a kid strolling through the mall (Karstadt) and just let go of the habit of playing (for hours) with their Playstations they set up for customers to try. I had a computer of my own now. Then I saw the Starcraft box and it looked cool. Anything scifi looked cool to me. It was 39,99 DM I think. The first game I ever bought. Before I just got games burnt on CD from friends. Needless to say, no regrets. With that context I found it especially cool that you could play in LAN and only 1 person needed to own the game. The others could install a spawn that only worked with local multiplayer. Very cool.
