NEW UPDATE FOR PATCH 1.16.1

Egg Ball 1.16.1
Made by devilesk
http://www.staredit.net/topic/2890/

Uses EUDs. Control your scourge by selecting the zerg eggs.
Score points by hitting the ball into the other team's goal.
Multiple win options by most goals or time

Update: new version 1.01 fixes the time options so they now work.

Current version is 1.16.1 for the current patch.

I'm not sure how long ago I updated this map to patch 1.16.1 but I just updated it here with the current version :P I'll be uploading v2 as well which is more noob friendly.

It's really a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. This is the map I always show to people that go "EUD's?"

Ultimately the egg selecting system is pointless. It isn't a convenient way to control the ball. People jumping into the map take a long time to understand what is going on. Once everyone actually knows what's going on, it's mostly just a game of who end up with the ball.

In the end, it would have just been better just to control the scourge regularly. The work put into the bounce system and movement system would have been better spent in making a dynamic reflection system.

It is professionally made though, and I'm sure full teams of people who are actually good at it would make it much more entertaining. Good luck getting that though.

It is primarily a concept map and it does what it was meant to.

Oh_Man -- yea APM vs eAPM
[08:48 am]
NimoStar -- plus most of the human APM is just spam clicking APM inflation
[08:47 am]
NimoStar -- the thing with the "*12" thing is completely misleading. The AI isn't using two control groups, it can use each of those actions to command a single unit individually and issue different commands to each single unit.

NudeRaider -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Oh_Man Artosis hasn't caught on how devastating the perfect focus fire is. With the mutas he was like "the Mutas always seem to have less hp than against a human". But he didn't notice that the flock he had selected always just had one muta that was hurt. Same with the wraiths here. He's talking about how valks+wraith is gonna destroy Pluto's valks, then 5s later he's dumbfounded the human player's air is just gone and he never figured out why. And for some reason didn't even think to go back and look at the battle.
