The fastest growing population that carries a weapon for self defense purposes is women. On the whole, more people than ever are taking responsibility to their own protection as women comprise the largest growing group. Due to the increase in the mindset of women to protect themselves as well as the increased use of self-defense equipment available to women is also on the rise. So much so that it can be quite overwhelming trying to figure out the vast array of tools available to women.

Let's go over the various tools for self defense with a focus on non-lethal options. Each tool has distinct characteristics and effectiveness levels that are worth taking into consider for the woman who is arm-strapped. Whether you require a full report on self defense, click over here.

Stun Weapons
Stun guns as made famous by Taser, come in two types: the standard stun gun that is contact-based and the projectile based like it is the Taser Pulse. The self-defense equipment uses electrical contact to temporarily stun enemies and trigger severe pain to their body. Stun guns have proven themselves to be effective in stopping an attack. Stun guns are very easy to carry and conceal and some are small enough to be carried in a pocket. They are easy to use they provide a forceful and effective impact when it can be used to slash an attacker. The weapon completes all of the work, and it is an excellent self defense device for women who have a weaker physique or are disabled in some way.

Impact Batons
Collapsible batons are made of metal that are available in a range of sizes. They function as an impact weapon that allows the user to take devastating blows to the opponent. The metal construction and their light nature permit the baton to cause severe fractures, and it can even break bones. Batons that measure 12-inches can be collapsed into a compact rod that is the perfect companion for daily carry. While physical strength plays an important key role in the effectiveness of a baton, their design usually maximizes the power regardless of strength. This self defense item is best suited for close-range threat situations.

Mace
Mace really is a brand of pepper spray that has become so popular with pepper sprays that Mace is frequently used to denote any and all pepper spray. Pepper spray is designed in order to cause severe discomfort to the skin and eyes as well as make it difficult for people to breathe and trigger involuntary discomfort reactions. s1 Pepper Spray Gun
The s1 Pepper Spray Gun is a self-defense product that is identical to pepper spray in a lot of ways, but has distinct characteristics that make it different. Like pepper spray, it uses an irritant chemical that causes pain to the eyes and skin, and may cause breathing difficulty. As opposed to pepper spray, it isn't really spray. It releases a solid projectile that explodes on contact. The explosion generates a 4-5-foot to 6 feet cloud of powder, which increases its effectiveness.

The S1 Pepper Spray Gun is capable of carrying 7 self defense rounds in a magazine. This lets the user quickly restart and reload the gun when required. It has a range that is over 150 feet, and is non-lethal. The S1 Pepper Spray Gun looks like an enormous handgun, and seeing the wrong end of the barrel isn't an enjoyable situation. The weapon's bottom has an integrated Picatinny rail. This feature will allow users to connect the flashlight and engage anything that happens to be bumpy in the night.
