oh wow I just realized the typo here. Meant epoch date, ofc. Maybe epic as well, who knows.

Vrael -- sure you can do days since epoch or microseconds since epoch or w/e

Vrael -- so yeah January 1st 1970 at 00:00:00 is 0 in Seconds Since Epoch

Vrael -- so yeah you basically need to choose an epoch date, aka 0, and then you can measure time in like Seconds Since Epoch

Vrael -- a lot of time-based math revolves around like adding or subtracting dates right, so you need a format which you can represent as a number instead of a sequence like year-month-day
