I suggest watching alone since multi may crash the other players for some reason

I am trying to make as small map as i possibly can, i started with 1x1 but start location needs to be somewhere, 6x2 workd, thats how this started.
I resised to i think 12x14 or something and that gave me a block of terrain that big but theres also rest of the map thats has fog of war that sometimes dissapear and glitchy terrain, even air units cant reach out from the 12x14 block so i thout il cast a dark swarm out of the block and triger make a unit out of it, thats how i got this.

A 1x1 map can work(maybe even a 0x0). Start locations don't need a location for placement, and don't need to be included either. As long as the race isn't user defined, the start location is just a copy of the x/y positions of the placeholder unit, or default of (0,0).

Well I couldn't get a 0x0 or 1x1 map to work, but a 2x2 works just fine.

He showed it to me when we were on vent once, maybe I'm mistaken and it was 2x2 (but I vaguely remember it was 0x0).

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
