Maybe it's the compressor, wavs should still play fine. What compressor do you use?

Just try using a different compressor//protector.

i found that if u use uberedit v3 and go to compression and set it to combo compression then the music stays just fine.

Praetor

Only real protector that doesn't mess up the map in any way* for me is Tinymap. It gives nice compression and offers BASIC protection. (As in, probably crackable by Unused)

*That I'm aware of.

better to use a map compressor than a protector in all cases.

Well, you do have several options available to you that you can try, TinyMap will make your map the smallest, and it doesn't even touch WAVs, so that would be my choice, but it's also the most easily crackable with unprotection tools.

If you're going for protection, I'd try StarCraft Map Cracker first, but if that makes your map unplayable, with is fairly likely, I would try using Special Protector 3 next, and if neither of those worked, then Shadow Protector should work, and if not, your map is screwy and you can do whatever works :P

If you want the best of both worlds, you can wait for Farty to finish TinyMap2, it's still in betas, but the current version is fairly stable, although it does glitch when it comes to WAVs, so using the beta isn't even an option, but it has the best protection, as well as the best compression available, so if you're willing to wait, that would be your best choice.

Oh_Man -- and no consistent easy to use way to then play the audio either

Oh_Man -- where they use third party audioprogram called WWISE which basically makes adding audio extremely difficult

Oh_Man -- i appreciate SCBW's ability to just let us upload and play WAVs so much compared to nightmare that is total war warhammer 3

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
