Endless Fantasy



Since it was impossible for me to write the system of the map, I've decided to rewrite the entire game, including the gameplay and story. It will still have the TB combat. I'll even change the name of the map.

Nice! Having more than 1 controlled character per player seems interesting. Is this map done already?

I don't know. I've never played any other map with a turn-based battle system, maybe with a similar story. Mad Zombie or someone on the shoutbox said something about a turn-based Yu-Gi-Oh map. I don't know, I'm too lazy and busy to look up on it.

the map like bugged on me or something. when it got to the fight it told me to load the siege tanks into the dropships and then use D-Web on something to fight. I loaded the ships and then d-webed evertying in sight but nothign happaned. Then i just flew around w/ my dropships. there's no terrain O_o

I had the same problem. I couldn't get past that bug.

Also, I think you should time your texts right so it looks like 1 person is talking at a time, otherwise all I see is a wall of texts. You should try to avoid using too many "!"s and long lines of "......................" in between sentences.

Sadly this is as far as I gone, for now... Like I said I will update it in a couple days that will complete the tutorial battle. I'm sorry, I'm new to this. :(
It's the way Dr. Insano talks for some reason. He yells out what he says, He's insane!!! Thx for the feedback.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
