Refilling Nuke

I remember doing it once before...but now I forgot.

I'd like the computer to nuke a specific area at that instant at the cue of a marine built---

Wait, that's not the problem.

The problem is, there needs to be a nuke in the silo for the comp. How is it possible for me to refill the nuclear silo with another nuke?

You have two options to get the computer to load the silo, you can run the Broodwar Terran 2 - Town A AI, and this will cause the nukes to instantly go in the silos, but a nasty side-effect is that this AI was made for the campaign, so it might sometimes do other odd things, such as create ghosts in the bottom left hand corner of the map.

So your other option is to use the Broodwar Terran 2 - Town B AI, which makes the computer build the nukes, so as long as they have enough resources, they will build them. Then you can just run the Nuke Here AI and it should work fine.

So, since you used the second option, the only question is, is the computer that is doing the nuking a Terran computer, and are you having other AI scripts running at the same time?

The computer will be a Terran computer with no other AI scripts running. However it has a lot of 'attack to' order at various point of the game.

Make sure you don't order the ghost that is supposed to launch the nuke and you're good.

Thanks for reminding. I made that mistake and it messed up. Big.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[05:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
